This week, we are discussing depression, also known as Major Depressive Disorder, or Clinical Depression. It is normal to experience periods of sadness in your life, it is a normal emotion; however, depression can cause severe symptoms that affect how you feel, think, and handle daily activities, such as sleeping, eating, or working. We want to normalize asking for help, recognizing early warning signs of depression, where to seek help and how to cope if you are experiencing depression. Depression can truly be debilitating and cause you to miss out on so much of life and we our goal is to ensure you get the help you need.
