Roberts the Founding Director of the Center for Sports Leadership & Innovation at the University of Texas. After graduating from Harvard Law School, Roberts decided to take a sharp right turn and pursue a football coaching career. After asking 32 NFL teams for an internship, he finally received a “Yes” from the Kansas City Chiefs. He went on to serve coaching stints with the Detroit Lions, West Virginia Mountaineers and Cleveland Browns. He holds a B.A. in Plan II Honors and Government from the University of Texas (2001), an M.P.P. from Harvard’s Kennedy School (2004) and a J.D. from Harvard Law School (2007). Roberts is a contributor to Forbes.com, and his articles have appeared in The Dallas Morning News, Fortune, Houston Chronicle and Time.

    We continue our #GoFortheGold series with Christian Taylor.A clutch performer in the men's triple jump, Christian scratched his first two jumps at the London Olympic Games before delivering in dramatic fashion and eventually winning the gold medal. In three years competing for the University of Florida, Christian Taylor was a 10-time NCAA All-American. But his career went to a new level when he won the 2011 World Outdoor title with the third best American performance of all-time. At age 21 he was the youngest jumper in the final. Within the 10 All-American honors includes three NCAA Championships (2010 outdoor triple jump; 2009 and 2010 indoor triple jump). Taylor has also won a total of eight SEC championships in the long jump, triple jump and 4x400m relay.Enjoy this conversation with Christian and Keep Saying YES!

    A three-time Olympian in the four-man bobsled, Steve and his team became the first Americans to win a World Championship title in 50 years in 2009. A year later, they won gold for the first time in 62 years for the U.S. at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. Steve and his sister, Dr. Leigh Mesler Parise, founded Classroom Champions and have grown it into an international organization affecting change in classrooms and donating needed technology. As of 2017, Classroom Champions Olympians, Paralympians, and college student-athletes have mentored more than 19,000 at-risk students across the U.S., Canada, and parts of the Caribbean and Central America.In this episode, Steve will take us on a journey through his quest to escape "normal" and win an Olympic gold medal.
