The A+ Parents podcast, Hosted by “Mr. D Math Live” Founder Dennis DiNoia, speaks with parents, homeschool organizations, and homeschool influencers on how to help our students become self-directed learners.

Our programs encourage students to discover how to learn vs what to learn and how to teach others what they are learning along the way. Mr. D Math Live programs empower students to correct their work, discover their own ah-ha moments and develop lifelong self-mastery skills.

We share tips, tricks and stories from educators on how students can think for themselves by teaching them to operate with free will, accountability, honor, and respect.

Our unique approach awakens students to discover their own unique expression of how they view education. They communicate what they’ve discovered and apply their knowledge to “the world outside of a classroom.” We focus on multiple learning styles allowing students to discover their own strengths in how they learn.

After all, what does every parent truly want? We all want our children to have a great life beyond what their report card says. That is what it means to be an A+ Parent. Grades are important. But not as important as the lifetime of happiness through self-discovery and knowledge mastery.

Previously a co-founder of engage:BDR, Ted Dhanik served as chairman & CEO overseeing all business units. Founded in 2009, engage:BDR was a leading cross-device Video and Display solution provider that directly served publishers, media owners, brands, agencies, and demand platforms. engageBDR was a video-, and mobile-first interactive marketing and marketing-technologies company. The Company had its over-subscribed IPO in 2017, Ted fully exited in 2022. From launch until 2008, Ted was with MySpace.com responsible for flagship marketing initiatives. Working very closely with founders Chris DeWolfe and Tom Anderson, Ted was responsible for launching the brand in its infancy. Also, Mr. Dhanik innovated business development at LowerMyBills.com in its early stages through acquisition by Experian, and was also an integral part of the early development and launch of the consumer lending program at NexTag Corporation. Mr. Dhanik has worked for or been a partner at several other companies in business development, sales, and managerial positions, such as Xoriant Corporation, Atesto Technologies, Inc., Brigade Solutions, Cybersource Corporation, and Merrill Corporation. Ted sits on boards or advises other tech startups such as Fighter, LottoGopher, FirstSlice Media, MyDiveo and Schizo Pictures, and is an active mentor at Los Angeles-based startup accelerator Start Engine. Ted active in the public speaking circuit with recent keynotes at 100 Million Mastermind Experience.

Ted is currently the founder of a brand new, stealth project in connected television advertising to be unveiled in 2023.

A Vision For Community | Kim Hannon Nov 01, 2023

Kim Hannon is a happily married homeschool mom living in the Tampa Bay area. She is a juggling master - though only figuratively! Kim and her husband, Chris, have been partnering on projects and in life for over 23 years and married for 19 of those! They have 3 children Lucas, Jacob and Alivea and a sweet golden-doodle Oliver. Chris and Kim are both avid volunteers at their church, Generations Christian Church. When Kim began homeschooling her oldest son nearly a decade ago, she saw the need homeschool families have for community, for doing life together. SALT of Trinity, a homeschool group for families to shine and learn together, was founded in 2016 and has continued to grow and thrive under her devoted guidance and servant leadership. Most recently, Kim turned her passion to develop the premiere homeschool event in Tampa Bay - the inaugural Tampa Bay Homeschool Conference. When not running at full speed, managing dozens of projects, Kim can be found relaxing poolside with a good book or enjoying the sunshine and salty air at the beach with friends and family.

Michael James Dowling is the author of four books, including Frog’s Rainy-Day Story and Other Fables,which WORLD Magazine named one of the six most outstanding Christian picture books of the 21st Century. Since 2000 he has provided ghostwriting and editing services on more than twenty books for thought leaders. Prior to that he served as administrator of a 1000-member church and held management positions with several business corporations. Sarah Buell Dowling is an award-winning artist and the illustrator of dozens of children’s toys and books. She and Michael have collaborated as a writer/illustrator team on several projects, including Frog’s Rainy-Day Story and Other Fables. Sarah has a Master of Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and has studied with several highly regarded painters. Her work has been exhibited at numerous shows and galleries.
