161 Dirty Plats Mar 06, 2018

Show notes

Is Nintendo playing it safe with the Switch? It's probably the only safe bet in this entire episode to be fair. Hear how the PlayStation Vita has been doing the handheld thing with proper controllers for years now. How the guys risk their lives to enjoy IPA's every episode. Graphic warning labels that can't stop cancer. Horrible games for dirty platinums. A pop album that makes Shane and Joel squirm. All culminating at the end with an argument about respected bands that can't get no respect on ABOG.

160 Cheap As Chips Feb 20, 2018

Show notes

Take a seat on a memorial park bench, it's time to listen to a new episode of ABOG. Slow news period in gaming but there's still plenty to rant about including anti-social media, cheap platinum trophies and the end of a long-running addiction. Recommended record from Khruangbin, Joel's Valentine's Day with Valerie June, Karl's guilty pleasure record and a potentially pricey Gorillaz pressing for Shane in music. Side C details ABOG's Midwest Gaming Classic 2018 plans and they're so good a special guest might make the long trek from Europe to join in.

158 New Kids With Cardboard Jan 23, 2018

Show notes

Amazing how talking about some cardboard can help even three old dudes remember they used to be kids. Nintendo might be onto something. Join Joel, Shane and Karl for another episode of weather reports, gaming and music. Perhaps they'll even teach you how to fold yourself a record player by the end of this one. Pour yourself a strawberry beer and plug in some headphones, it's ABOG time children.
