So, growing up in rural Kansas I had very much a sense of being alone in my teens. So when this new movie “Pump up the Volume” came out in the early 90’s staring Christian Slater, I instantly could relate. I wanted to use the pinnacle song he played as a pirate radio DJ where he finally admitted he had problems talking to people and relating, especially to a young woman he was very interested in. I knew that song had to be involved in our show somehow.

This annual holiday, known as the biggest in the region, features a special event called "Jack's Night". During this spooky gathering, a small team tries to outdo each other with terrifying stories.

A drunk guy is sitting at a bar by himself one night and throws up all over the front of his shirt. "Oh great, my wife is going to kill me," he mumbles to himself. The guy sitting next to him sees what has happened and leans over towards him, "Hey buddy, just put a twenty dollar bill in your shirt pocket and when you get home tell your wife the guy sitting next to you threw up on you and he gave you $20 to get your shirt cleaned."

Completely inebriated the drunk man thanks his new friend and puts a twenty in his shirt pocket and heads for home. As soon as he walks through the front door his wife becomes irate and starts yelling at him, "Where have you been? you're completely drunk and you're a mess. Look at yourself, you puked all over the front of your shirt."

Drunk & slurring his words he explains to the wife, "No no, the guy sitting next to me threw up on my shirt and he gave me $20 to get it cleaned. Look, it's right here in my shirt pocket." The wife reaches into his pocket and pulls out the money, "There's $40 in here."

"Oh yeah, he shit in my pants too."

Every morning I get out of bed, put on boxers and a robe, come downstairs and start to make a cup of coffee. As it is brewing, I’ll walk out to the back deck, yawn big and see how the weather is. One last Saturday morning, I started my routine, couldn’t find boxers so just went with the robe. Started my coffee and went out to check the weather. I found My wife was holding a baby shower with 20 of her friends. I was immediately greeted with one of her friends saying: “Wherever you get strippers from, you should get your money back!”
