Ep. 41: They Call Our Kids 'Criminals' | The Saga of Urban Dove Dec 15, 2019

In this episode, the fellas discuss the saga surround Urban Dove School which has plans to move into a Jewish Community. Urban Dove is a charter school that serves students who failed the 9th grade. The past two tenants of the building have been Jewish schools, one Conservative and one Orthodox, that each ran into financial problems and stopped paying rent. More than a 100 protestors showed up advocating that the building hold that space for a Jewish school, orthodox or conservative. You can read the full story here.

Our communities have always known the power of Black children having Black teachers in their lives. The numbers of Black teachers dropped significantly as a result of the Brown vs Board decision.
