(12:15) Atlanta's offense had a might start to the year by scoring 21 combined runs in the pair of victories. Michael Harris II came through with a trio of hits on both Friday and Saturday, including a homer. Jarred Kelenic also impressed in his first games as a Brave as he collected four hits in Philadelphia.
(18:35) Jesse Chavez earned the victory on Saturday after Max Fried was pulled in the 1st inning. Chavez was cut by the White Sox during Spring Training and is now in his fourth stint with the Braves.
(21:40) Strider vs. Wheeler was on Friday and each came away with a no decision. Strider struck out eight Phillies in only 5 IP.
(27:30) Chadwick Tromp (catcher) was called up from Gwinett over the weekend after Sean Murphy landed on the 10-day IL due to a strained left oblique muscle.
(32:00) Philadelphia's loud crowd went from booing the Braves to jeering their own team after falling behind early Friday and Saturday. Orlando Arcia had a happy returned to Citizens Bank Park as he totaled with three hits in both victories.
