    Welcome to 54 Days of Roses, a Catholic podcast dedicated to the miraculous 54-day Rosary Novena. I’m your host, Maritza Mendez. This is a podcast for those who seek answers to a particular prayer. We are currently praying live on YouTube at 7 AM Pacific Time from now until the end of April. Join us live each morning
    Together we will pray the first 27 days in petition, followed by 27 days in thanksgiving, even if our prayers have yet to be granted. This podcast is a beautiful devotion that will help you pray the Rosary daily.     Bienvenidos de nuevo. Hoy es el día 51 de nuestro Novenario del Rosario de 54 Días, Jueves Santo de la Semana Santa.
    En el Jueves Santo, recordamos dos eventos clave: la institución de la Eucaristía (Santa Comunión) durante la Última Cena y el acto de Jesús de lavar los pies de sus discípulos, demostrando la importancia de la humildad y el servicio. El término "Maundy" enfatiza el mandamiento del amor y el servicio que Jesús impartió a sus seguidores en este día.
    En este Jueves Santo, sigamos el ejemplo de Jesús en humildad, amor y servicio mutuo. Profundicemos también nuestro aprecio por el don de la Eucaristía y el profundo misterio de la real presencia de Jesús entre nosotros.

    Welcome back. Today is day 51 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena, Thursday of Holy Week.
    On Maundy Thursday, we are reminded of two key events: the institution of the Eucharist (Holy Communion) during the Last Supper and Jesus' act of washing the feet of his disciples, demonstrating the importance of humility and service. The term "Maundy" emphasizes the commandment of love and service that Jesus imparted to his followers on this day.
    On this Maundy Thursday, let us follow Jesus' example of humility, love, and service to one another. Let us also deepen our appreciation for the gift of the Eucharist and the profound mystery of Jesus' real presence among us.

    Bienvenidos de nuevo. Hoy es el día 50 de nuestra Novena de 54 Días, miércoles de Semana Santa.
    En el Miércoles Santo, nuestros corazones son atraídos hacia los eventos que conducen al sacrificio final de Jesús en la cruz. Fue en este día que Judas Iscariote, impulsado por la avaricia y la traición, tomó la decisión fatal de entregar a Jesús a las autoridades. La solemnidad del Miércoles Santo nos llama a contemplar la realidad de la fragilidad humana y las consecuencias de nuestras acciones.
    Además, en este día, una mujer, en un acto de profundo amor y devoción, ungió a Jesús con un perfume costoso, prefigurando su muerte y sepultura.
    Tomémonos un momento para examinar nuestros propios corazones y acciones. ¿Estamos, como Judas, permitiendo que la avaricia o el egoísmo nublen nuestro juicio? ¿O estamos, como la mujer que ungió a Jesús, derramando nuestro amor y devoción a sus pies?

    S10 Day 50 - Sorrowful Mysteries in Thanksgiving Mar 27, 2024

    Hello Family,
    Welcome back. Today is day 50 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena, Wednesday of Holy Week.
    On Holy Wednesday, our hearts are drawn to the events leading up to Jesus' ultimate sacrifice on the cross.
    It was on this day that Judas Iscariot, driven by greed and betrayal, made the fateful decision to hand Jesus over to the authorities. The solemnity of Holy Wednesday calls us to contemplate the reality of human frailty and the consequences of our actions.
    Also, on this day, a woman, in profound love and devotion, anointed Jesus with costly perfume, foreshadowing his death and burial.
    Let us take time to examine our own hearts and actions. Are we, like Judas, allowing greed or selfishness to cloud our judgment? Or are we, like the woman who anointed Jesus, pouring our love and devotion at his feet?

    Let us pray for the grace to be faithful disciples, even in the face of temptation and betrayal.

    Bienvenidos de nuevo. Hoy es el día 49 de nuestra Novena del Rosario de 54 días, martes de la Semana Santa.
    En el Martes Santo, reflexionamos sobre las enseñanzas y parábolas de Jesús, especialmente las de su tiempo en Jerusalén. Un momento significativo es el Discurso del Monte de los Olivos, donde Jesús habla sobre el fin de los tiempos y enfatiza la necesidad de estar preparados para su segunda venida.
    Este día nos invita también a examinar nuestras propias vidas y prácticas espirituales. ¿Estamos viviendo verdaderamente según las enseñanzas de Jesús? ¿Estamos preparados para encontrarnos con él cuando vuelva?

    Welcome back. Today is day 49 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena, Tuesday of Holy Week.
    On Holy Tuesday, we reflect on Jesus' teachings and parables, especially those from his time in Jerusalem. A significant moment is the Olivet Discourse, where Jesus discusses the end times and stresses the need for readiness for his second coming.
    Holy Tuesday also prompts us to examine our own lives and spiritual practices. Are we truly living out the teachings of Jesus? Are we prepared to meet him when he comes again?
    As we reflect on Holy Tuesday, let us strive to embody the teachings of Jesus in our daily lives and to prepare our hearts to receive the fullness of his love and grace.

    Querida Familia,
    Bienvenidos de nuevo. Hoy es el día 48 de nuestra Novena del Rosario de 54 días, Lunes Santo de Semana Santa.
    En este día, contemplamos la purificación del Templo por parte de Jesús, una poderosa demostración de su autoridad y llamado a la pureza espiritual. Al reflexionar sobre este evento, estamos invitados a examinar nuestros propios corazones y deshacernos de todo lo que obstaculiza nuestra relación con Dios.
    Es un tiempo de oración, arrepentimiento y búsqueda de reconciliación con Dios y con los demás. En este Lunes Santo, que abramos nuestros corazones al poder purificador de Cristo, permitiéndole purificarnos y prepararnos para la Semana Santa.

    Hello Family,
    Welcome back. Today is day 48 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena, Monday of Holy Week.
    On this day, we contemplate Jesus' cleansing of the Temple, a powerful demonstration of his authority and call for spiritual purity. As we reflect on this event, we're invited to examine our own hearts and rid ourselves of anything that obstructs our relationship with God. It is a time for prayer, repentance, and seeking reconciliation with God and others.
    On this Holy Monday, may we open our hearts to Christ's cleansing power, allowing him to purify us and prepare us for Holy Week.
    Family, as we enter this final week of our Novena. I want to thank you for all of your support. We are planning on having our next Novena starting in August. Please mark your calendars and if you have any suggestions on the intention for our next season.

    Querida Familia,
    Bienvenidos de nuevo. Hoy es el día 47 de nuestra Novena del Rosario de 54 días, domingo de Ramos, el domingo antes del domingo de Pascua.
    Hoy marca el comienzo de la Semana Santa mientras recordamos la última semana de la vida de Jesús en la Tierra, incluyendo Su entrada en Jerusalén, Su Crucifixión y Su Resurrección.
    En el Domingo de Ramos, recordamos la entrada de Jesús en Jerusalén, como se describe en los Evangelios de Mateo, Marcos, Lucas y Juan. Jesús entro a Jerusalen montó en un burro mientras la gente agitaba ramas de palma, gritando "¡Hosanna!" —una súplica por la salvación.

    Welcome back. Today is day 47 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena, Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Easter Sunday.
    Today marks the beginning of Holy Week as we remember the last week of Jesus' life on Earth, including His entry into Jerusalem, His Crucifixion, and His Resurrection.
    On Palm Sunday, we recall Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, as described in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey as people waved palm branches, shouting "Hosanna!"—a plea for salvation.
    May this Palm Sunday serve as a profound reminder of the humility, love, and sacrifice of our Lord, inspiring us to walk with Him throughout this holiest of weeks.
