    Show notes

Y familia, quiero decirles: ¡queremos escuchar tu testimonio!

    S12 Day 38 - Sorrowful Mysteries In Thanksgiving Apr 11, 2025
    Show notes

Hello family, and welcome to day 38 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I'm your host Maritza Mendez. Thank you so much for being with us today and if this is your first time joining, welcome to this beautiful family of prayer.

Today we reflect on courage in witnessing our faith. Sharing the Gospel isn’t always easy—especially when we face criticism, rejection, or silence. But Jesus reminds us that even when others misunderstand or oppose us, we’re never alone. Like Him, we are called to stand firm in love and truth.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus is nearly stoned for speaking the truth. Still, He doesn’t back down. And in the first reading, the prophet Jeremiah is surrounded by threats—but he trusts that the Lord is with him like a mighty champion.

We also honor St. Stanislaus, a bishop and martyr who stood for justice and truth, even unto death. His life calls us to be bold and faithful, even when it's hard.

Family, we want to hear your testimony! If this novena has touched your life, please share your story. In the show notes of today’s episode, you’ll find a link where you can leave a testimonial. Your words may inspire someone else to grow in faith.

    Let’s begin today’s Rosary.

Day 38: Sorrowful Mysteries in Thanksgiving
Family, today on day 38 we're praying the Sorrowful Mysteries In Thanksgiving

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, we ask for your intercession as we pray for unity in our families, strength in our faith, wisdom in discernment, and the right use of technology to deepen our human connections.
We pray for the intentions of our family here on the podcast, intentions received by email, Instagram and YouTube.
We pray for the intentions of Lynda, Maggie, Rocio, Sam, Shawn, Soul of Bill, Kristine, Donna, Vince, Elaine, Alfie, Betsy, Jerry, Angelina, David, Veronica, Mary Terlep, Remington, Quanah, Sepulveda Family, Carol, Sarah, Rangel Family, Mariela Peralta, Angel Mata, Gloria Rubio, Marlene, Briana, Yvens, Luis Emilio, Lucila, Margaret, Anne, Corotan, Naguit Family, Samson, Soul of Anthony Garcia, Darlene, Bravo Family, Patrice, Alemans Family, and the Occonor Family.

    Show notes

    S12 Day 37 - Joyful Mysteries in Thanksgiving Apr 10, 2025
    Show notes

Hello family, and welcome to day 37 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I'm your host Maritza Mendez. Thank you so much for joining us today.

Today’s theme is The Call to Holiness. Holiness isn’t just for the saints we read about—it's a call for each one of us. It can be lived out in simple ways: through prayer, kindness, sacrifice, and love. We’re all walking our own path to sainthood, and God meets us right where we are.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reveals His divine identity, reminding us that He is the eternal “I AM.” And in the first reading, God renews His covenant with Abraham, assuring us of His faithfulness across generations. These readings invite us to trust in God's promises and live each day with purpose.

We also honor St. Michael de Sanctis, who had a deep devotion to the Eucharist and lived with a heart fully open to God's will. May his example encourage us to seek holiness in the ordinary moments of our lives.

Family, I also want to thank you for being part of this beautiful journey. We now have listeners from 160 countries and territories, including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Philippines, South Africa, Nigeria, Colombia, Singapore, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Germany, Costa Rica, Kenya, Guatemala, Malaysia, Spain, Uganda, Italy, Slovakia, and Hong Kong.

    Show notes

    S12 Day 36 - Luminous Mysteries in Thanksgiving Apr 09, 2025
    Show notes

Hello family, and welcome to day 36 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. Thank you so much for being with us today.

Today, we’re reflecting on The Joy of the Lord—a joy that runs deeper than our circumstances. In this fifth week of Lent, we’re reminded that even in suffering or uncertainty, we can find strength and peace in Christ.

In today’s reading, we see great courage in the face of danger. Even in the fire, God didn’t leave His people alone—He sent His angel. That’s the joy of the Lord: knowing we are never alone, even in our hardest moments.

This is the kind of joy that Lent leads us toward—not surface-level happiness, but a deep confidence in God’s presence and His love.

I also want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has responded to the podcast questionnaire! It’s been so meaningful to read your feedback and see where you're joining us from. If you haven’t filled it out yet, you’ll find the link in today’s show notes and in the daily email. It only takes a few minutes and helps me continue improving this space for our prayer family.

You’ve shared some amazing ideas—like wanting more interviews, conversion stories, saint reflections, and year-round prayer resources. I hear you, and I’m working on it!

Today we also honor St. Casilda of Toledo, a woman who found deep joy in her conversion and in serving the sick and the poor. Her life reminds us that when we root our hearts in Christ, true joy always follows.

    Let’s begin today’s Rosary.

    S12 Día 35 - Misterios Gloriosos en Agradecimiento Apr 08, 2025
    Show notes

Hello family, and welcome to day 35 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I'm your host Maritza Mendez. Thank you so much for being with us today and if this is your first time joining, welcome to this beautiful family of prayer.

Today is Tuesday of the Fifth Week of Lent, and as we move deeper into this season, we’re reminded that Lent helps realign us with God’s will. It’s a time to let go of our need for control and learn to trust in Divine Providence, even when the path feels unclear.

Just like the Israelites in today’s reading, we sometimes lose patience in the desert. But even in their complaints, God offered healing. And He does the same for us when we turn to Him.

Let’s pray today for all who feel lost—especially those seeking direction, employment, or stability—and for the homeless, that they may find peace, provision, and hope through Christ.

We also remember St. Julie Billiart, founder of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and the patron saint of the sick and those who are rejected for their faith. She reminds us that even in suffering, we can live with deep trust and joy in God’s plan.

    Let’s begin today’s Rosary.
