Number one Texas escapes Knoxville with a 20-17 win over Tennessee and it was anything but pretty. The defense was absolutely historic, with Colin Simmons tying the Texas record with five sacks in a single game as part of a stunning ten sack performance from the unit as a whole. The offense was a different story. Arch Manning started hot and then went cold, the special teams had a rough day full of costly errors, and Tennessee had a chance to pull off the upset late. Jeremy Hills, Nick Shuley and Mark Higgins break down how Texas survived, what Colin Simmons showed the entire country on Saturday, why the offense has to figure it out before the schedule gets even harder, and what the special teams mistakes mean going forward.

Number one Texas heads to Knoxville for their first road game and their first SEC matchup of the season against a Tennessee team that is averaging over 300 yards rushing per game and starting a true freshman quarterback. Nick Shuley is joined by Rod Babers, Jeremy Hills, Alex Okafor, and Mark Higgins to break down every angle of this massive early season SEC showdown.
