No new episode this week but this is definitely one of our favorite conversations.
Did you all see Vax that thang up? Buff is not feeling it. Razi thinks it's bad, but he liked "Let me smang it" so we can't trust his taste. Razi and Ferg reminisce about Bagram Air Field as the US closes it down. We discuss All American Homecoming and the HBCU experience. As we jump into the Ferg asks have we ever done everything right in a relationship, what does the phrase "you can do everything right in the relationship and he will still cheat" mean, and how does it affect a relationship. He follows up with, "when is it time to cheat." Razi follows up the question and asks, "why don't women need men?" Buff anchors the questions with a cancel culture question. He wants to know is possible to disagree with a hot topic without the snippet being spun and you end up looking like you are hating. Then you end up cancelled in the wake and is that fair? Enjoy and we will talk to you all next week.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We open announcing the biggest news of the year. Christmas tree cakes are back and two of the three brothers are not moved. We discuss Shanquella Robinson's tragic death. We get political updates as we announce the new congress leaders and newly announced presidential candidates. Ferg gets first question and wants our responses to Tia Mowery's post saying divorce is a graduation, not a failure. Razi wants to know how we pick who we go on trips with after hearing about the narrative of Shanquella should have picked who she traveled with better. Buff asks a listener question from Erica Perkins. She wants to know why do we (or if we do) have a love/hate relationship with our hometown of Mobile, AL. We close saying congrats to Razi for being the president elect of the UAB Black Alumni Network and laughing about Twitters final moments. Buff shouts out the Omega Lamplighters at his latest gala appearance. Our prayers go out to past guest Porche Slaton and the Slaton family as they had a huge loss right before the holidays. Make sure to check on your friends as we head into the holidays.
It was election night in the US and we open debriefing the results as only the 3 brothers could. We discuss the red wave that turned into drop of ketchup and what happened. Razi talked about the split ticket voting and what it means for the future of political strategy. Buff wants to shout out all the historical firsts that happened on Tuesday. Ferg is tired of folks looking to black voters to carry the Democrat ticket. We also talk through what held Stacy Abrams back and what should be next for Beto. Guess what...it's not running for political office again. We also give Kudos to the Republicans for flipping Miami. Buff breaks up the political talk and asks the brothers what things make dating us difficult and Ferg tells the greatest story ever. Razi comes back and wants to ask is this the end of Trump and Trumpism. We close discussing Kyrie and the fallout from his latest social media post. We also discuss Descendent on Netflix and if House of the Dragon is better that Rings of Power. Buff breaks down the Florida voter fraud arrests. Ferg defends the Astros and the sign stealing associated with them. He also wishes nothing but bad experiences for the FAMU homecoming attendees since he can't attend. Razi has first question and wants to know what is Kanye's actual plan since so many have defended him as a genius strategist. Buff lights a match and throws it on a gas spill. He asks is marriage the only non single status and the brothers are not on one accord on this one. Ferg rounds out the convo asking should the kids be a reason to stay in a relationship. Razi thanks everyone for the support of Shop in Style and Ferg is excited about the new movie "Till." Enjoy!

Buff takes second round and ask the brothers do we trust the police. Finally Ferg wants to know how we feel about Jalen Rose and the curious case of the squatting sister.
Ferg is fired up this week. He's the man and he doesn't have to do ish! We open reminding everyone to get their tickets for shop in style silent auction and brunch. We discuss the ASU/JSU game and UAB's inability to sell out homecoming. Razi talks about Kanye West's new white lives matter shirts and welcomes everyone back to the boycott. Oh and Razi is heated at the Alabama State Fair. We only get to two questions but the discussion can't be missed. Razi brings up the black dance team at USC and wants to know the brothers thoughts on transplanting black culture onto predominately white institutions (PWIs). Buff follows up asking what the brothers would want to do in retirement if we didn't have to work, but just wanted to do something. We are so proud of our brother Buff as he received an award and spoke at Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Gala. We challenge everyone to continue to give back to your communities and make sure you are checking in on your family and friends. This one is another can't miss episode.
We continue the discussion with Eboni Taylor of the 5th Ward Houston Taylors and Dr. Theresa Givens of Da Bruhs Bookshelf for part 2 of our 2 part special.
