    A Tip for What? - Tipping has gone too far Jun 09, 2023
    Show notes

    Tipping is getting out of hand,
    It's time for us to take a stand.
    They can't survive without humans,
    I'm tired of being programmed.
    We have to do something,
    I wrote about it in this composition,
    Hopefully, you'll listen and feel conviction.
    So, we don't have to fund other people's expenses.

    Psalm 14 NIV, The fool says in his heart...... Apr 10, 2023
    Show notes

    Psalm 14

    1 The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. 2 The LORD looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. 3All have turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one. 4 Do all these evildoers know nothing? They devour my people as though eating bread; they never call on the LORD. 5But there they are, overwhelmed with dread, for God is present in the company of the righteous. 6You evildoers frustrate the plans of the poor, but the LORD is their refuge. 7Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When the LORD restores his people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!

    Hymn: All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name (Rap Version) Apr 09, 2023
    Show notes

    All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name, By: Edward Perronet
    All hail the pow’r of Jesus’ Name!
    Let angels prostrate fall;
    Bring forth the royal diadem,
    And crown Him Lord of all!
    Ye chosen seed of Israel’s race,
    Ye ransomed from the fall,
    Hail Him Who saves you by His grace,
    And crown Him Lord of all!
    Let every kindred, every tribe,
    On this terrestrial ball,
    To Him all majesty ascribe,
    And crown Him Lord of all!
    Oh, that with yonder sacred throng
    We at His feet may fall!
    We’ll join the everlasting song,
    And crown Him Lord of all!

    Salmo Quince/Psalm 15 - Spanish to English Translation Apr 08, 2023
    Show notes

    Salmo Quince

    1 Quién, Señor, puede habitar en tu santuario?
    ¿Quién puede vivir en tu santo monte?
    2 Solo el de conducta intachable,
    que practica la justicia
    y de corazón dice la verdad;
    3 que no calumnia con la lengua,
    que no le hace mal a su prójimo
    ni le acarrea desgracias a su vecino;
    4 que desprecia al que Dios reprueba,
    pero honra al que teme al Señor;
    que cumple lo prometido
    aunque salga perjudicado;
    5 que presta dinero sin ánimo de lucro,
    y no acepta sobornos que afecten al inocente.

    El que así actúa no caerá jamás.
    Psalm 15

    1 Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
    Who may live on your holy mountain?
    2 The one whose walk is blameless,
    who does what is righteous,
    who speaks the truth from their heart;
    3 whose tongue utters no slander,
    who does no wrong to a neighbor,
    and casts no slur on others;
    4 who despises a vile person
    but honors those who fear the Lord;
    who keeps an oath even when it hurts,
    and does not change their mind;
    5 who lends money to the poor without interest;
    who does not accept a bribe against the innocent.

    Whoever does these things
    will never be shaken.

    We Wear the Mask - Paul Laurence Dunbar Apr 08, 2023
    Show notes

    We Wear the Mask, By: Paul Laurence Dunbar
    We wear the mask that grins and lies,
    It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes,-
    This debt we pay to human guile;
    With torn and bleeding hearts we smile,
    And mouth with myriad subtleties.
    Why should the world be overwise,
    In counting all our tears and sighs?
    Nay, let them only see us, while
    We wear the mask.
    We smile, but, O great Christ, our cries
    To thee from tortured souls arise.
    We sing, but oh the clay is vile
    Beneath our feet, and long the mile;
    But let the world dream otherwise,
    We wear the mask!

    Hymn: More About Jesus (Rap Version) Apr 08, 2023
    Show notes

    Hymn: More About Jesus, By: Eliza E. Hewitt

    More about Jesus would I know,
    More of His grace to others show;
    More of His saving fullness see,
    More of His love who died for me.
    Refrain:
    More, more about Jesus,
    More, more about Jesus;
    More of His saving fullness see,
    More of His love who died for me.
    More about Jesus let me learn,
    More of His holy will discern;
    Spirit of God, my teacher be,
    Showing the things of Christ to me.
    More about Jesus, in His Word,
    Holding communion with my Lord;
    Hearing His voice in every line,
    Making each faithful saying mine.
    More about Jesus on His throne,
    Riches in glory all His own;
    More of His kingdom’s sure increase;
    More of His coming, Prince of Peace.
