Matt Klinman is a comedy writer (The Onion, Funny or Die, Adult Swim), Ethan Strauss is a sports writer (The Athletic, ESPN). They are two long-time friends who started their careers on the internet but keep finding themselves having conversations about how the digital world has become increasingly cancerous, bleak, centralized and lame. Is Facebook destroying the internet? Is Twitter destroying politics? Is Instagram destroying children? Is this false dichotomy destroying rational arguments? Or at least how people who care about comedy and/or sports would. So that’s what we are recording and releasing in an attempt to get other people to also start having these same conversations… before it’s too late?
