These podcasts have been produced to educate the public about detection, prevention, and treatment of eating disorders and to provide breaking scientific updates. This series is hosted by Dr. Cynthia M. Bulik, the Jordan Distinguished Professor of Eating Disorders in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Bulik is also Professor of Nutrition in the Gillings School of Global Public Health and Director of the UNC Eating Disorders Program.

Included in this collection of public lectures sponsored by Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences are the Annual Anthony B. DeFeo Lecture in Speech-Language Pathology. This lecture series was established to honor the outstanding career of Dr. DeFeo in clinical teaching and mentoring in speech-language pathology at The University of Arizona.
