Text, Prose & RocknRoll

Text, Prose & RocknRoll is the only podcast dedicated to the documented account of musicians, rock biographers, and documentarians. A MUST for fans of Fresh Air & Behind the Music. Hosted by Emmy nominated Music Journalist, Kris Kosach.

M Means Music

We love music, and we want you to love it too. In our podcast, we take some of the best known albums and put them to the test. Informed, enthusiastic, perfect if you’re well on your musical journey or merely just starting out, every subject will be put under the M Means Music microscope to be rigorously reviewed by five stringent criteria.

One; moment, where does it fit?

Two; music, what does it sound like?

Three; modern art, what does it look like?

Four; members, who made it?

and

Five; memory: has time being kind to it?

And it’s all totally based on my opinion. Who am I? My name is Daryl and I’ve got over 40 years in pop music. I’ve sold it, I’ve written about it, released it, talked about it, and I play it in public while waving my arms. M Means Music is cheerful, upbeat, informative, looking at the many twists and turns of popular music. Maybe we are selecting an album because it is celebrating an anniversary; maybe an artist has reached a significant birthday, maybe we just fancy shining a light on an album we love. Do join me!

Beyond The Beat

Welcome to Beyond The Beat. I’m Jared Linnen, and in this podcast, I will be diving deep into how some of the biggest and baddest albums were made. It’s the stories, the adversities these bands and artists had to overcome, and how these people got to that place in time where they were able to create a masterpiece of an album.

Beyond the Beat is meant to be a long-form podcast, combining my two favourite passions, music and history.

DAVIDBOWIE: ALBUMTOALBUM

Each David Bowie album is unique. Some are universally lionised, some regarded as merely legendary, some, pretentious codswallop. But we all have our favourites. In this series of podcasts, I meet up with writers, musicians, critics and assorted woodland folk, to explore their choice of album in rambling roundelays of free-form facting, anorak-grade geekery, pompous pontification, impassioned argument and highly-contentious chat. I like to think these podcasts exercise the minds of some of the world’s (well, at least the bit I am in) most eminent Bowiebores, my lugubrious interrogations spurring them to wax lyrical and entertainingly – just for you. I hope you enjoy listening to them.

Yee Yee Radio: The Podcast

We all know the artists that we all know. Obviously. But, how did that artist become who they are? What music shaped them? Who’s the one superstar they looked up to, modeling their own career after? What song made them want to be on stage every night? Those are just a few of the questions we get to the bottom of here on YEE YEE RADIO: THE PODCAST.
