After a long career in Marketing and Communications at companies like NIKE, OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network and National Geographic, Liz Dolan is exploring what’s next for her. Liz was also the long-time co-host of the award-winning podcast Satellite Sisters with her real-life sisters, so a new podcast seemed like a good way to do it! In Season 1, Liz is a Fellow at Stanford’s Distinguished Careers Institute and taking classes all over Stanford. The goal of this year is to reconnect with herself, connect with similarly distinguished fellows (aka late career folks), and connect with Future Liz. In Season 2, Future Liz has to put herself out there. What’s the plan? Tune in every other week for new episodes of Lizness School where she explores new choices and keeps her curiosity alive with her millennial mentor Leah Sutherland, who’s in the messy middle of her own transitions.
Physical books are at once a conduit for conveying complex and well-developed ideas and an artifact of the time and place from which they come. While digital media has its place in social discourse, the book is an enduring piece of technology that has been one of the primary vehicles for shaping civilization. The Reading Wheel Review is an initiative designed to anchor sustained attention to books that truly matter, and to shape a substantive dialogue around them.
Have you ever wondered what really goes on in local government? I’m Mike Burkons, your host and a former city council member. Some people loved me, some… well, let’s just say they weren’t fans but I’m here to pull back the curtain on the decisions that shape local communities. Every week, I’ll share insights from my time in office and break down local issues, controversies and dramas occurring in local governments in the area, not just in Beachwood, in a way that’s easy to understand and maybe even a little entertaining. Whether you’re interested andpassionate about small town politics and its drama that comes with it, and the local issues that affect your quality of life on a daily basis, this show is for you. We’ll cover these types of issues occurring in Beachwood and other local suburbs, chat with local experts and residents, and—who knows—go off-topic if the conversation gets interesting. Because here, it’s not just about government, it’s about what matters to you. So join me on “Everything is Local”—where understanding your community starts with listening.
Political pollster Zac McCrary interviews interesting people who work in and around the political industry. Guests come from a multitude of backgrounds and specialties within the political industry, and span the partisan spectrum. This is not a podcast for partisan squabbling or punditry about the latest issue in DC – it is hearing directly from successful people in the industry…their stories, experiences, and advice. This is a podcast for anyone who works in politics, hopes to work in politics, or wants to get up close to see how things really work in the world of professional politics.
Finally, a media podcast about what’s actually happening in the media—not the over-sanitized, legal-and-standards-approved version you read online. Every Tuesday and Friday, join Dylan Byers, Puck’s veteran media reporter, and Julia Alexander, a longtime media analyst, as they sit down with TV personalities, moguls, political pundits and industry executives for raw, honest, sometimes salacious conversations about the business of media and its biggest egos. “The Grill Room,” an homage to the exclusive dining room within The Four Seasons where a generation of media executives consummated deals and traded gossip, is produced in partnership with Audacy Podcasts. The Grill Room is an extension of In the Room, Dylan’s private email for Puck, where he chronicles the intrigue and inside stories behind what’s really going on in the media industry—from the board room to the newsroom to the green room and everything in between. 🎙️ The Stand With Meg Show
Defending Parents’ Rights. Protecting Children. Giving a Voice to the Voiceless.
Hosted by Meg🎙️
Home of the FIRST EVER Family Rights survey. Evidence over silence.
I’m Meg, investigative journalist and mom of five. I haven’t seen or heard my kids’ voices since January 29, 2024, and I learned this system the hard way, pro se. My story isn’t unique, and that’s the problem.
I built Stand With Meg alone, a public record of 5,000+ family-reported submissions from all 50 states, DC, and 18 countries, documenting $950M+ in reported losses. Each episode exposes the patterns families report, elevates protective parents, mothers and fathers, and demands accountability.
🎙 Includes The Shawn Lee Report: general legal education with criminal trial attorney Shawn Lee, not legal advice. Episodes premiere live with public Q&As.
📢 Follow the Money: with Chandini Kumar Portteus, I’m calling for a federal audit of how Title IV-D money moves through family court. Call for a freeze and audit in your state: my.StandwithMeg.com/take-action
