Daddy Issues with Violet Benson

Formerly Almost Adulting… but let’s call it what it always was.

Welcome to DADDY ISSUES with Violet Benson.

I brought the original name back. Because I am the OG Daddy Issues – the brand that started 12 years ago and turned a meme page into a movement. The name you’ve always known me by. So we’re done pretending.

This podcast WILL change you… or at least your standards.

We talk dating disasters, attachment styles, adulting, evolving past your patterns, confidence comebacks, mental health spirals, breakups, friendships, and how to stop chasing, settling, and playing small. Tough love backed by real psychology.

I’m Violet Benson – Comedian, Daddy Issues meme queen, ex-accountant, soon-to-be-author, and your unfiltered Russian big sister. I’ll say what your therapist is thinking but won’t text you at 11PM.

Welcome home.

New episodes every Tuesday/Thursday.

This isn’t Almost Adulting anymore.

It’s Daddy Issues.

The Politics Bar

In communities across the U.S., from small towns to big cities, there used to be a lot more places like the ol’ neighborhood bar. It was a place you could come after work, to talk with your friends & neighbors about the news of the day, to have a few laughs, and maybe a few drinks.

In those days, you could even talk about politics a little bit without causing a bar brawl. These days, the people in our personal communities are often spread from coast to coast and around the world. And while it’s great to see ‘em on social media, it would be better to have a place where the bartenders knew your name, and you could trust the folks in your community would be there with the latest news and drink or two.

So we’ve created a place like that here – and you’re invited. Come on in, pull up a chair, grab something to drink, and we’ll get up to speed with the news of the day, at The Politics Bar.

Easy Listening

Are you listening to a podcast, as you search for a new podcast, because you’re obsessed with podcasts? This is the place for your ears. Gina Grad and Teresa Strasser (The Adam Carolla Show) celebrate and break down your favorite shows using audio clips and interviews to highlight the stuff that makes them burst out laughing, burst out crying and burst out into night sweats. (There’s also a better than average chance that a clip they share will lead to a juicy reveal about themselves.) There are half a million podcasts in this world; G & T are here to help navigate with this weekly walk down podcast lane.
