Gay & Afraid with Eric Sedeño

“It’s so nice to give people a chance to see a side of your favorite internet personalities that you wouldn't online,” says Eric Sedeño, host of Gay & Afraid, Apple Podcasts' Spotlight show for October 2023. Sedeño is an art director, iIllustrator, and TikTok sensation @ricotaquito. He’s known for his ability to make audiences feel like friends, for his contagious laugh, and being himself — the internet just happens to be watching, too. On the podcast Gay & Afraid Sedeño uses these elements to dive into mental health, dating, and everything in between. He’s joined by a colorful cast of rotating guests, some are also internet personalities, and all are friends like Brittany Broski, Matt Peterson, and Emily Gracin. “It’s the most fun when we get into the rhythm and forget that there are cameras or that we are being recorded,” says Sedeño. Sedeño wants to inspire listeners to be open, authentic, and find joy in every situation. “My podcast is meant to celebrate myself now,” he says. “The moment that inspired the podcast [was when] I didn’t know who I was yet. I hope listeners can feel that.” Join Eric Sedeño and a colorful cast of rotating guests in "GAY AND AFRAID," a new weekly podcast that puts the CAMP back in camp... literally. Each week, Eric welcomes a new guest to sit by his campfire and open up about topics like mental health, coming out stories, dating and relationships, and everything in between. Read More

Gayotic with MUNA

Having been described by the press as “occasionally hard-to-follow,” “as chaotic as they are iconic,” and “going through it,” the band MUNA started this podcast with the hope of providing not only more income, but also rare insight into the behavior of queers outside of the month of June.

Join the band and their special guests as they gab about our personal lives, music, what they like to eat, the TV they watch, intergenerational trauma, and of course their search for answers in the case of a missing girl. Tune in for new episodes every Wednesday.

Codependents

Self-deprecating besties, Ciara Miller and Mya Allen met while filming Bravo TV’s hit reality show, Summer House. As the only two black voices in a predominately white space, Ciara and Mya quickly bonded as they found they shared more commonalities than differences. Filming a reality TV show brings you closer to a person faster than expected. Ciara and Mya found themselves laughing non-stop, crying together, and being slightly co-dependent; so much so, they are often mistaken for biological sisters. Co-dependent is a weekly podcast that fosters an open, authentic dialogue allowing our followers front row access to all things Ciara and Mya. Showcasing intimate details with behind-the-scenes exposure, Co-dependent displays Ciara and Mya unedited. Read More

Believe in Magic

Jamie Bartlett, host of the hit podcast The Missing Crypto queen, is back with another gripping, investigative serial. In his new series, Jamie tells the story of Megan Bhari, an inspirational 16 year old girl who in 2012 launches a charity to grant wishes to seriously ill children. The charity is called Believe in Magic and it attracts the support of the biggest boy band in the world: One Direction. Believe in Magic soon becomes a household name in the child cancer community, putting on parties, sending thoughtful gifts and organizing trips to Disney. Megan is adored by all those she helps and is given an award by the then Prime Minister David Cameron. What’s even more remarkable is that Megan is herself extremely unwell. She announces that she has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. She raises money online for life saving treatment in the United States. But a group of internet sleuths start to suspect that Meg isn’t ill at all. When they discover Megan is in a Disney resort rather than a US hospital, they decide to hire a private detective to prove Megan is faking her illness–and expose the truth to the world. But events take an unexpected turn. And the internet sleuths-who are all parents of seriously ill children themselves-begin to wonder if they've got it all wrong. "It wasn't meant to end like this," says one. Author Jamie Bartlett and producer Ruth Mayer investigate the truth about Megan Bhari, tracing back over the sleuths’ incredible discoveries, meeting Megan’s old friends and supporters, and exploring the medical profession’s most mysterious condition. After months of investigation, Jamie and Ruth discover a secretive investigation into the truth about Megan’s medical condition. The conclusion is shocking–and will have far-reaching consequences for everyone involved. Believe in Magic is a BBC Studios production.

Kabul Falling

On August 15, 2021, the Taliban regained control of Kabul, nearly 20 years after Coalition Forces had cast them out of power. The takeover sent shockwaves throughout the country and the international community. It forced thousands of Afghans to leave their old lives behind and embark on a hellish journey for survival. In Kabul Falling, Afghans themselves tell you how it happened. You’ll hear how they maneuvered their way through panicked crowds; waded through sewage in a desperate attempt to get into the Kabul airport; withstood beatings and torture; and finally, if they were lucky, boarded a flight into the unknown. You’ll hear stories about big risks, close calls, and unexpected moments of kindness — or luck — that changed everything. Kabul Falling is a Peabody nominated podcast that explores big questions: How does a war end, and who is accountable for the human wreckage left in its wake? How do those involved grapple with the aftermath of the fall and work to rebuild their lives? Kabul Falling is a Project Brazen production. For more fearless storytelling, search for the Brazen channel on Apple Podcasts or visit brazen.fm, home to all our podcasts, documentaries and newsletters. At Brazen, we show you how the world really works – from espionage and corruption to deal-making and organised crime, we’ll take you inside stories from hidden worlds. Over 50 & Flourishing with Dominique Sachse

Welcome to Over 50 & Flourishing, the show for any woman who feels like she lost her compass in the sea of midlife. I’m here to tell you it’s never too late to change your course and awaken the healthy, wise, and wonderful woman within. My name is Dominique Sachse, and I love to ask questions, which was why I spent nearly three decades of my life in the TV news business. I also started a YouTube channel in 2014 to connect intimately with my community, and I took an even deeper dive in my book Life Makeover - Embrace The Bold, Beautiful and Blessed You. I’ll be the first to say, I’ve made mistakes, and I’m not afraid to be vulnerable and learn from them. I mean let’s face it, this stage of life can be complicated. Children are moving out, relationships are being examined, our parents are aging, and we’re having to manage all of this along with our menopause! It’s easy to lose sight of ourselves, but can I just say.. we matter. So, whether it’s finding ways to enhance and celebrate our own beauty, taking bold steps toward living our best life in the second half of life, finding ways to be healthier, happier, and more spiritually connected, I will bring you thinkers and innovators who share the same passion of flushing out these ideas. It’s my goal to leave us all feeling inspired, thought and intent-driven, and with a sense of purpose in whatever we pursue. Let’s celebrate growing older together and embrace our Prime. It’s our time! As a renowned speaker, author, and thought leader, Schuyler's work includes answering questions from all sorts of people relating to gender, current events, mental health, civil-rights issues, and so much more. But there are always questions left unanswered -- until now. On "Dear Schuyler", the award-winning activist answers questions he receives from followers, allies, and anyone who wants to learn more about how our ideas of gender shape our lives. To help inform those answers, Schuyler speaks to guests whose wisdom and experiences are directly impacted by those questions -- people like like NCAA champion swimmer Lia Thomas, ACLU lawyer Chase Strangio, Olympian Megan Rapino and others. These are the culture movers, the experts, and the real people who tell their stories, teach their lessons, and help us all recognize how they're shaping today's society and culture.  If you have a question for Schuyler, send him a voice memo on his Instagram @pinkmantaray, or go to DearSchuyler.com.
