The India Hicks Podcast

A wonderfully intimate look into the life and work of India Hicks and her extraordinary family. In Season One we’re talking Movie Stars, Matadors and Maharajas as we have tea and cake with Lady Pamela, daughter of Lord and Lady Mountbatten and of course India’s much moved mum. Now in her 90s Lady Pamela’s stories will astound you; she’s first cousins with Prince Philip, travelled the world on the famous Commonwealth tour when Princess Elizabeth became Queen, befriended everyone from Grace Kelly to Gandhi and had a front row seat as her father, the last Viceroy of India, oversaw the complicated process of partition. We ask that if you have listened to this podcast would you be so kind as to consider making a donation to The Princes Trust - a charitable organisation with which India is actively involved. Many thanks. www.princes-trust.org.uk Produced by Lisa Francesca Nand and edited by Alex George. Read More

Food writer and photographer Korsha Wilson created A Hungry Society to foster more diverse and inclusive conversations about the culinary world. Each week, Korsha looks critically at the current state of the food world and welcomes guests to discuss the role of food in their lives. Read More

This is a show about the moments that change us, fundamentally and forever. Each week, host Stephanie Wittels Wachs (Lemonada’s co-founder and award-winning queen of darkness and light) is sitting down with a new guest to explore happy/sad stories of survival, resilience and transformation. After three seasons of exploring the "last day" of people’s lives in an effort to understand mass epidemics, Steph was ready for a change herself. Some “last days” are hopeful. Some are tragic. But at the heart of every “last day” is also a new beginning. Laugh/cry with us. Read More

Hello My Tribe

Motherhood shouldn’t feel lonely or be depleting, and it shouldn’t be filled with self-doubt. With simple tools and resources, women can build inner and outer strength to tackle all that motherhood throws their way. I started Hello My Tribe because I needed more of everything as a new mom -- more support, more community, more understanding, more information, and more opportunity. During my first year of motherhood, I felt isolated, lonely, anxious, depressed, frustrated, angry, and misunderstood, and I went through an identity crisis. Sometimes I still feel all of this, even four years postpartum. Through these experiences, I shared my story in 2016, came to learn I wasn’t alone, and found many solutions. I am now on a mission with Hello My Tribe to support women in all aspects of motherhood. Through content, campaigns, events, and both digital and in-person communities, we bring our two big beliefs to life. First, that motherhood is a team sport and second, that guilt-free self-care is a necessity. I’m so thankful to be on this journey with you. xoxo, Alex Read More
