Genocide – Genocide Podcast Team

One million people were killed in a one hundred days by their neighbors, colleagues, and associates in Rwanda from the Hutu ethnic group. The countries leadership in 1994 instigated this misguided hate and stripped an entire ethnic group, the Tutsi, of their humanity, equating them with cockroaches. The weapons of mass destruction used in this massacre against the Tutsi and the moderate Hutu who helped them, weren’t bombs or guns. One million people were beaten and hacked to death by clubs and machetes. The survivors of the genocide are reminded of the torment they endured daily by the physical scars, deformities, and acquired diseases they’ve learned to live with. The most difficult hurdle in their journey however, isn’t visible. It’s the scars etched into their hearts with the one true weapon of mass destruction… hate. Read More

Behind the Bastards

There’s a reason the History Channel has produced hundreds of documentaries about Hitler but only a few about Dwight D. Eisenhower. Bad guys (and gals) are eternally fascinating. Behind the Bastards dives in past the Cliffs Notes of the worst humans in history and exposes the bizarre realities of their lives. Listeners will learn about the young adult novels that helped Hitler form his monstrous ideology, the founder of Blackwater’s insane quest to build his own Air Force, the bizarre lives of the sons and daughters of dictators and Saddam Hussein’s side career as a trashy romance novelist. Post-Truth

America's history, distorted. A nation built on stories - some true, some rewritten, some entirely false.
r />For centuries, America has wrestled with the truth—shaping, distorting, and, at times, outright fabricating it to fit political agendas, fuel wars, and create heroes. But in the digital age, where misinformation spreads faster than ever, the very concept of truth itself is unraveling. Post-Truth (formerly Hoax) is a deep dive into the history of deception in America, from the founding myths that shaped the nation to the modern forces that have turned fact into fiction. Each episode dissects a moment in history where the signal was lost, truth was distorted, and reality became negotiable.
