The Pink Moon Murders

The Pink Moon Murders is an investigative, true crime podcast that delves into the slaughter of eight members of the Rhoden family in rural, Appalachian Ohio in 2016. It was a night that shocked the country with its brutality—and its mystery. Who would commit such horrible crimes? And why? Ohio native David Raterman, a longtime journalist and former author for National Geographic, spent 18 months researching this, interviewing Rhoden survivors and friends as well as hundreds of others in the small community. He even spoke with prosecutors and police officers who were officially gagged by the judge, visited the crime scenes countless times, and pored through records at courthouses throughout the region. Two and a half years after the Rhoden murders, investigators suddenly arrested six members of another family. Raterman attended more than 20 of their hearings at the small, one-room courthouse in Pike County and interviewed their neighbors and friends. What he discovered about that family, who owns the most land in the county as well as an elite horse farm, will leave listeners in utter disbelief. And what he reports overall will surprise investigators—as well as true crime listeners who think they’ve heard it all. Presented by Cavalry Audio and iHeartPodcasts Read More

Revealed

Governments agencies wield a lot of power; our power. We allow them to make decisions for us, whether that's through Congressional acts, agency rules, or school board decisions. But don't you wonder why things shook out that way? Don't you wish you knew what was on the note the aid handed that senator? Don't you think someone should be looking over their shoulder? So do I. Listen to the stories from others who feel the same, others who have used public records to make sure that the government uses your power in your best interest. Read More

Citizen’s Arrest

Citizen’s Arrest brings together the silly but serious duo Amy Rose and Brandon Jones with Lt. Kelvin Masur and Brendyn Medina for real conversations about life inside the Rapid City Police Department and the community they serve. What started after Amy and Brandon completed the Citizen’s Police Academy has grown into a welcoming space where listeners can learn, laugh and feel connected to the people behind the badge.

Lt. Masur brings a strong leadership voice shaped by years of experience at RCPD. He breaks down serious topics with clarity and honesty while still letting his fun side show, including the occasional story about his simulated car racing hobby. Brendyn adds heart and curiosity from his role in Community Relations. He is also a dedicated star gazer who shares the night sky through photos on Facebook and a proud new dad who brings a warm point of view to every conversation.

Amy and Brandon keep the conversations grounded in community and curiosity. Their mix of humor and heart helps everyone feel relaxed, even when the topics get real.

Together the group talks about what is happening in Rapid City, memorable arrest stories, community events and the day to day realities of police work.

Citizen’s Arrest also highlights listener voices. Every show features a question from the public and a question from a kid. The goal is simple. Build trust, share knowledge and have real conversations that help our community understand each other better.

Join the team as they pull back the curtain on policing in Rapid City and remind us that behind every uniform is a human story.
