Santa Cruz County Transit and Transportation Agency Meetings – Audio Tracks

These podcasts make access to the local government agency meetings simple.

Attending the meetings in person is very time consuming and is not a very efficient use of time. They are long, and there is often quite a bit of administrative business done. Not many people have the time.

These podcasts break the meetings into short segments with brief descriptions. You can listen to the topics that matter to you, whenever and wherever you can.

They are made from the audio tracks on communitytv.org 's video feed of the meetings. Thanks go to them for providing those. You can see the full videos on their website.

Community Television of Santa Cruz County (CTV) videos of local agency meetings are here:

https://communitytv.org/watch/government-demand/

I'm not editing the content, but I am editing out the agency's administrative business and the public comments.

The meeting agendas are useful for some details.

SC Metro Board agendas are here:

In the National Interest

"In the National Interest" is a podcast that explores the intersection of foreign and defense policy, national security, and U.S. politics. It is not about world affairs, but about American interests and the realist approach needed to promote them. What actually constitutes true realism is, of course, a source of controversy. And so, the series promotes fresh debate by featuring a variety of leading experts from government, industry, journalism, and academia, many of whom may at times disagree with each other. Each episode is hosted by Jacob Heilbrunn, editor of The National Interest magazine, and published by the Center for the National Interest.
