The Word and the Glass

Join us each week as we present real world topics through the lens of Doctrine, Theology, and the inerrant Word of God. "See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ." - Colossians 2:8.We must address every decision, every action, every choice through the lens of scripture. Each week we will address a given topic in written oration, round-tables, and Q&As. This podcast is a Strasburg Baptist Church ministry that is wholly dedicated to a biblical world view. If you are curious or interested in what the Word of God has to say about today's culture, today's ideology, and today's message, I promise you that this is a podcast that you'll want to follow. How do we navigate a society that is becoming more and more at odds with scripture? The Word and The Glass is a round table discussion that looks at this question and finds answers from the inerrant, infallible, inspired and sole authority of the Bible. Topics have included: The pandemic, what our identity is in Christ, the church and your children, the power of truth and tongue, speaking truth in love, and the SBC 2021 meeting. We have a new studio and have upgraded and improved the audio quality immensely. We have also found a rhythm at the table that is genuine and easy to listen to and really comes across to the listenership as authentic. If you need encouragement, if you need answers, if you need direction, if you need truth, join us as we dive deep into the word of God and seek for these things. New episodes are uploaded every Monday morning at 6am CST. Read More

Haunting Season

Haunting Season is a weekly Podcast, produced by Believe Limited and Matt Gielen and hosted by Joshua Sterling Bragg and Cody Dugan. The show was originally built as a digital campfire around which to tell scary stories. Bragg launched Haunting Season in February of 2013 and released one compact paranormal story per week. By the end of 2015 Haunting Season had gained 16K subscribers. The show went on hiatus for undisclosed reasons but has remained on Bragg's mind these past five years…. Today, the show faces a new chapter as an audio/ video podcast. The reimagined Haunting Season keeps storytelling at its core with a two part original story every month (best listened to in the dark with headphones). The Haunting Season story experience is meant to fully engage your senses - with a high quality 360 degree audio journey that is built to transport, transfix, and (occasionally) terrify listeners. In addition to the HS story experience, Josh is joined by Co-Host (radio personality and fellow horror enthusiast) Cody Dugan. Together they talk about what they find scary and to people that have experienced the paranormal first hand. They will talk about the historic hauntings and how beliefs in the paranormal vary between different cultures. They also review supernatural films and books, speak with fear-topic authors and filmmakers, and occasionally take a look back at the HS archive of scary stories…. and (super) naturally, live shows can be expected around annual haunting traditions such as All Hallow's Eve. Haunting Season isn't just about scares, it's about facing the unknown and taking a deep look at some of life's most challenging unanswered questions… the afterlife, the sensory fog of feeling something just out of reach…. The show is for truth seekers, skeptics and genre-fans alike - and for anyone that has ever been transfixed while aiming to answer the question: what happens after you die? Read More

Orphan Black: The Next Chapter

After a groundbreaking event changes the world, all clones— familiar and unknown— must face the consequences. Starring Emmy award-winning actress Tatiana Maslany, Realm presents the official continuation of the hit TV series Orphan Black.  “The sequel fans deserve.” —Comicbook.com “Wildly fun, sexy sci-fi.” —Chicago Sun-Times Since their victory against Project Leda eight years ago, the original sestras—Sarah, Alison, Cosima, and those they love—have been free to live quiet, anonymous lives. But that anonymity comes at a cost: Cosima is unable to pursue the cutting-edge science that saved her life; Sarah’s daughter Kira is suffocated by her mother’s insistence on secrecy; and Charlotte, the youngest Leda clone, questions why her family gets to survive while other, unaware clones get sick and die.  Everything changes when Vivi Valdez, a CIA Agent, discovers she, too, is a clone—and goes rogue. Vivi’s pursuit of the truth brings chaos to the original Clone Club when one of them is accused of murder. To prove their innocence, they must step out of the shadows and publicly claim the secret they’ve sacrificed everything to protect. Family ties will be tested, long-lasting alliances betrayed, and the future of all clones hangs in the balance. Season 2 picks up where Season 1 leaves off, with (spoiler alert!) the Clones exposed to the general public. Now that the news is out, hundreds of previously unaware clones strive for justice and clash with anti-clone protestors. In the middle of it all, the Sestras and their families wrestle with the consequences of their actions, and what it means for their future.   Emmy Award-winning Orphan Black actress Tatiana Maslany returns for Season 2, but is now joined by original TV show cast members Jordan Gavaris (Felix), Evelyne Brochu (Delphine), and Kristian Bruun (Donnie).  Orphan Black: The Next Chapter is a Realm production written by Malka Older, Madeline Ashby, Mishell Baker, Heli Kennedy, E.C.
