Hearts & Daggers

Welcome to Hearts & Daggers, a podcast where we chat about the books that make our hearts race—whether that means we're swooning onto the bed or hiding under the covers. Our hosts are Devin, a New Englander living in Colorado who loves romances that amp her up and make her giggle; and Holly, a New Yorker who loves nothing more than reading something dark, creepy, and mysterious. Each week we will discuss two books—one lighter, one darker—that are united by a common theme. We will also each share one book we haven't read that we are excited about, and end with something in pop-culture or life right now that is making our hearts race. We hope you'll subscribe and join us bi-weekly for some fun conversations about romances, thrillers, and all the books in between that get our heart rates pumping! Read More

Made Remarkable with Kellee Wynne

I'm finally back with my 4th season! After a long break to take time for my mental health and healing, I'm back because, now more than ever, how important the connection we have is. Our network of artists, makers, creatives, visionaries and guides that spans across the globe is exactly what we need at this moment of time.

As always, I'm showing up as myself, raw, authentic, a bit sassy and with a whole lot of love. Now, even less polished as I'm running the show without a producer. This should be interesting.

You can expect a lot of speaking off the cuff and from the heart mixed with creativity and the ins and outs of building a course creator business. I'll be bringing on new and old guests for deep discussions.

And new this season - a more detailed look behind the scenes of how I build my multi-six figure art course business  plus I'll be hosting roundtable discussions with the audience!

Connect with me on Instagram @kelleewynne or the podcast account @maderemarkable and learn more at www.maderemarkable.com

Gillian Hills – A Life In Art, Film and Music

Gillian Hills gives us a detailed insight into her early life in film, music and art where she was discovered in France by legendary film director, screenwriter, Roger Vadim; the director of ‘And God Created Woman’ and ‘Barbarella’, who saw her as the next Brigitte Bardot and cast her in a version of ‘Les Liaisons Dangereuses’ (1959).

Gillian went on to become a sixties film icon appearing in movies like ‘Beat Girl’, her first film at just 15, in England. ‘Beat Girl’ (1960) tells the story of a young rebellious teenager who spends her nights clubbing and dancing to rock & roll. This was John Barry’s first film score. Her co-star was a young Adam Faith and Oliver Reed in their first credited film roles.

Gillian also played other key film roles in the classics ‘Blow Up’ (1966) and Stanley Kubrick’s ‘A Clockwork Orange’ (1971) which she discusses in extensive detail with the renowned film critic Anna Smith.

Fruit Love Letters

Fruit Love Letters is a curious dive into the Anthropocene through fruit-colored glasses. Host Jessamine Starr may not be a botanist, historian, farmer or an expert on fruit, but as a chef in Atlanta she's simply had a lifetime love affair with it. So, she began penning love letters to fruit. This podcast pairs those letters with her desires to learn more. From the miraculous survival adventure of the avocado, to the nurturing personality of a fig, we’ll traverse the world of fruit through emotional meanderings and expanding a hunger for more information. Through discussions with farmers, scientists, chefs and enthusiasts, Fruit Love Letters proves that there is so much we didn’t know about fruit, from the blueberries you sprinkle on your cereal or that seemingly mundane apple snack, both in historical fact and mystique. Fruit Love Letters is part of Whetstone Radio Collective. Whetstone Radio Collective creates storytelling dedicated to food origins and culture, with original content centering the perspectives of global majority populations and diasporas.
