Episode 431: What if you took a an action packed and emotionally intense story arc from a manga from the 60s and adapted it into a modern day murder mystery thriller? That is exactly what Naoki Urasawa did with Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy. Taking the "Greatest Robot On Earth" story arc and turning it into the story where we follow Europol's finest Cyborg Detective, Geshict and his mission to unravel the mystery of the murders of the most powerful robots in the world.
EX33: No seriously. We take it personally. From the pencil hitting the page, to it being rendered to it being checked by the Director, and even beyond that...from designing fashion to making a simply 18 x 24 poster of some waifu, anime and manga is a medium that goes far beyond whats on your favorite streaming service and whats in your weekly manga magazine. Sen joins me (Som) as we tend to bond over this sort of thing and our feelings for the medium are frighteningly similar. I am not even sure if we got down to the real reason why it all feels personal to them and I, but maybe some day soon we will.
Episode 430: FIRST AND FOREMOST this is all in good fun and this is just for fun smack talk. We don't really care that much what you rate and score or think about certain anime. That being said we take a look at our Patron's anime watch lists from MAL, Anilist, and other places and WTF IS ALL THIS S***
Episode 429: Today we review Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. EX28: Som is back this week with ANOTHER Creator Series where she sits down, once again, with Remy (My cousin Mario), to talk about his FIRST book: Nevertold -The Son- ... It has been a long time coming, a long journey, a lot of editing, a lot of hard work, ups and downs, blood and tears, for Remy to finally release his debut novel. In the land of Nevold, a small village resides: the village of Orahai, where the Manyari reside. It is comprised of all women, until the rare male, Kemahni, is born. Raised in this remote village, Kemahni is unknowingly held captive by his sisters and mothers to be used for their continued salvation. His chosen guardian, Ashava, along with her companion, Tahdwi, fight to keep him safe, despite him vying to live his own life. His birth mother, Saleal, watches him grow, hiding the secrets of his true purpose and nature, while finding it increasingly difficult to fulfill her duty.

Episode 394: This week we visit another show from the 2000s to 2009 decade and watch one of the OG harem anime: Love Hina. This anime adaptation of Akamatsu's manga was a slow build up romance, with budding friends, perverts, and terrible knack for repeating the same tropes every episode. There is a such thing as dated anime and this is one of them.
Episode 393: This week due to Som's maintenance changes, the episode was not planned out properly. We wanted to go more in depth and go in more prepared about our Plan-To-Watch and Plan-To-Read lists and talk mostly the stuff we want to consume outside of our seasonal watches and such. The episode you are about to hear was winged due to last minute maintenance on Som's end. That being said we hope you enjoy it because we would rather put content out then miss a week and of course we hope you continue to be patient with us as Som gets her shit together! This one is actually not Hunny Bear's fault!

Episode 386: It has been a good while since the hosts have done a show swap and this time Nick decided to trade the sci fi mystery show Kaiba to Som for the military girl show Strike Witches. Although these shows could not be more different, they each brought entertainment in their own forms. One one hand you have Strike Witches in which cute girls join the 501st Squad to battle alien invaders while being cute in a high flying action and fan service like show and on the other a surreal presentation of a world that questions morality, socio economic inequality, and the discussion of where the soul comes from.

Episode 381: For our last episode of the year (next week will be a radio hour) we decided to have a little fun, and thanks to Kai (clearandsweet) we get to end this year with a fun game of ANIME JEOPARDY! Kai has written all of the question and hosts this game to test Nick, Dannie, and Som on their anime knowledge!
This is the audio version but the Youtube version with the game was recorded and we encourage you to go there to watch if you'd like!
Thanks again Kai! You can sub to Kai's channel here! https://www.youtube.com/@clearandsweet
Episode 380: This week we each take a list of our favorite shows and find MAL reviews that we disagree with and ROAST EM. Nice and slow, like smokin a rack a ribs over a spit fire.
DISCLAIMER: Although we disagree with these reviews and proceed to cuss them out, please understand that this is all in good fun and we are merely talking shit. Some parts we may sound serious, but for the most part we commend these people for having strong opinions and writing out these thoughtful reviews even though we disagree. We are roasting their reviews, not the people themselves.
Episode 379: This week the hosts perform a little necroMALcy! We go through our dropped shows lists and each pick three shows we want to bring back from the dead and give another shot. Maybe we missed something on the first impression! Is there any shows on your drop list that you think you would give another shot?
