Ben from Tertia Watches discusses his flagship watch, the Odyssey, which I've gotten a change to wear for a little bit leading up to this interview.
We talk about Ben's background in LE and an Infantryman in the National Guard. We talk about the impact of 2020 on policing, specifically for Ben in a major metropolitan area, causing him to leave for a federal agency.
We discuss the challenges of creating a watch essentially from scratch instead of putting together a watch from catalog parts.
Marine Corps Infantry veteran and CEO of Staccato 2011 Buck Pierson discusses his background, his deployments, and his career trajectory to becoming the CEO of Staccato 2011. We talk about recent social media drama surrounding the company, the culture he seeks to create as a leader, and of course, watches.
Christian (@theoandharris) gives us some insider perspective on the watch world; he declares war on pretty much everyone (I usually ask for a "horological hot take" and he decided to just keep going with it). We talk business (and how he's been successful as an entrepreneur) before we get philosophical and discuss manhood, and how his recent passion for hunting and the outdoors plays into it.
Ferrell Armstrong of @stillridgefarms gives us the behind the scenes of college admissions before we get philosophical on hunting, manhood, family life, and mental health. Of course, we end the episode off with watches.
Decorated Rescue Swimmer George Cavallo shares some tales from his days jumping out of helicopters to save lives. Stay tuned for a crazy plot twist after he gets out of the Coast Guard and how he turned a negative into a positive.
George's story is one of resilience; his book (Sharks and Daisies) is available on Amazon. I will also do a giveaway with my copy.
I sit down with Adam of Police Posts/Effective Fitness Training/Effective Fitness Combatives (and my former part time employer). We talk about his career trajectory within law enforcement, leaving the job to pursue training, issues within how LE training is done, faith, family, and watches.

Gem chats all about British tool watch brand Elliot Brown--the military heritage, the insane tests they've done just to see when the watch will break, and travel. There's some exciting news about a future model exclusively for our listeners!
The legendary @movementsofaction takes us behind the scenes of government contracting; his job has taken him all over the globe in support of various military, intelligence, and other organizations. In his words, he is the guitar tuner who hands the guitar off to the "rockstars." We talk family, work-life balance, faith, and of course, watches.
I sit down with Brett, a pilot for a major airline, and we discuss recent fatal aviation incidents and steps pilots take to keep their passengers safe. We talk about the path to becoming a pilot, and get philosophical on living life and collecting watches.
