Guns, Technology, and Freedom: Decoding 3D2A & 1A | Cody Wilson & Marc Beckman Nov 04, 2025

Show notes

The United States Constitution is more than a document: it's a living experiment in freedom. The First Amendment protects our voices. The Second protects our right to keep and bear arms.

But somewhere between speech and weaponry, the line has blurred. Technology once gave us the power to build tools. Now it gives us the power to build anything at home, in minutes, for virtually no cost.

Artificial intelligence can write code, design weapons, and distribute information faster than any government can plan. It can replicate human ingenuity and amplify human intent. So what happens when AI meets the Second Amendment? When a machine can create a gun, a bullet, a bomb, and the algorithm decides who can access it?

The debate over free speech, safety, and innovation is no longer theoretical. It's here - written in code, printed in metal, and living in the hands of the American people. I'm Mark Beckman. This is Some Future Day.

Free Evyatar David | Ilay David & Marc Beckman Oct 07, 2025

Show notes

Two years. That's how long Evyatar David has been held in captivity, far from his family, his friends, and the music of his life. On this special episode of Some Future Day, we retrace the hours that changed everything, the search that hasn't stopped, and the quiet heroism of a family carrying hope through darkness.

I had the honor of speaking with Evyatar's brother, Ilay David, who refuses to let the world look away. Ilay has turned the world upside down to rescue his beloved brother. But what have the United Nations, Red Cross, Bibi Netanyahu, and President Trump done to rescue the hostages? And why does it seem like President Trump has done the most for the hostages?

On this two-year mark of his captivity, we remember the person. Not just the politics. Not just the headlines. Not just the antisemitism. And we explore what justice, compassion, and action look like now for Evyatar and for every hostage still waiting.

Meet the Guy Fighting to Cure Cancer | Dr. Peter Kash & Marc Beckman Aug 19, 2025

Show notes

The global biotech industry is worth more than $1.8 trillion, but behind that number is something more powerful: the ability to save lives. And no one understands that better than today's guest, Dr. Peter Kash.

Over his 37-year career, Dr. Kash has helped bring seven FDA-approved drugs to market, including an important pediatric leukemia drug. He's raised billions in biotech capital, co-founded more than a dozen companies, and helped push cancer treatments from idea into execution.

Peter Kash is chasing cures. He's fighting for kids with brain cancer. He's accelerating AI-driven therapies for glioblastoma, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's. And he believes that within eight years, solid tumor cancers like breast, prostate, and colorectal could have survival rates near 80%, just like today's blood cancers.

In a world of politics and profit, Peter is building something deeper: a global alliance of scientists, doctors, and entrepreneurs working together to outsmart disease.

So, if you care about medicine, humanity, or what the future could look like, this episode is your wake-up call. Because biotech isn't just about innovation. It's about the mother with ovarian cancer, the child with leukemia, the father battling Parkinson's. Peter, thank you for joining me on this episode of Some Future Day.

10 Drone Controversies & The Truth | Aviv Shapira & Marc Beckman Jul 22, 2025

Show notes

On this episode of Some Future Day, we're taking to the skies. Literally! Drones are everywhere. From warfare to weddings, surveillance to Amazon deliveries, these flying machines are reshaping our world faster than most people realize. But behind the sleek designs and impressive tech lies a truth that's far more complex, and in some cases, dangerous.

In this eye-opening episode, we break down ten facts about drones that everyone needs to know. You'll learn how drones have quietly become a $60 billion industry, why they're central to modern warfare, how law enforcement is using them for surveillance, and how your privacy may already be compromised.

We uncover the surprising role drones play in agriculture and climate research, and why AI-powered swarms are no longer science fiction, but battlefield reality. This isn't just about cool tech. It's about ethics, safety, regulation, and the future of personal freedom.

Whether you're an enthusiast, a skeptic, or just drone curious, these ten facts will change the way you see the world above you. This is some Future Day. And the future? It's flying right over your head.

Disrupting Big Pharma | Lou Reese & Marc Beckman Jul 08, 2025

Show notes

”For the first time in history - less than a decade ago - chronic diseases started killing us more than famine, pestilence, bacteria, viruses, all those things combined.” Yet, despite the suffering of millions, innovation is being strangled by a broken pharmaceutical system where red tape, corporate greed, and bureaucratic middlemen leave patients behind.

But what if there's another way? My guest, biotech entrepreneur and humanitarian Lou Reese, believes there is. And he's not just dreaming. Lou is building it. In this conversation, Lou reveals a radical new model for drug development and delivery, one that bypasses Big Pharma, puts patients first, and could bring breakthrough treatments to market faster and at a fraction of the cost.

Together, we unpack how Parkinson's patients, just like those with Alzheimer's, are being failed by a system that prioritizes profit over access. And we explore how a bold America First Pharma plan might change that forever.

This is a call to action! Because if we don't fight for innovation now, we'll be trapped in the same failing system tomorrow. This is Some Future Day. And that future starts now.

Artificial Intelligence & Racism: Can It Be Eradicated? | John Pasmore & Marc Beckman Jun 24, 2025

Show notes

Welcome to Some Future Day. I'm Marc Beckman and today we're diving deep into the future of artificial intelligence with a visionary entrepreneur who's taking on one of AI's most pressing challenges: bias and racism. John Pasmore, founder and CEO of Latimer, recognized early on that unchecked biases embedded in AI could profoundly affect future generations.

Inspired by the realization that his son and millions of others would interact with AI filled with implicit racial biases, John took decisive action to tackle these deep-rooted issues by providing training data that genuinely represents diverse perspectives.

In today's conversation, we dive into why Latimer's unique approach - leveraging historical archives, textbooks, and dissertations from black and other overlooked cultures - is essential for an equitable digital future. Stay with us as we discuss the implications of biased AI, the ongoing fight for accurate representation in technology, and how each of us can help shape a fairer, more inclusive future, right here on Some Future Day.

Hate in the Open: Confronting Modern Antisemitism | Robert Spencer & Marc Beckman Jun 10, 2025

Show notes

Antisemitism isn't just rising in America, it's exploding. And while our institutions hesitate, the attacks are getting louder, deadlier, and more brazen.

Just this spring, during Passover, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's home was targeted in an arson attack while he and his family were asleep inside. Soon thereafter, a young Jewish couple was murdered in cold blood in Washington, D.C. Their only crime? Being Jewish.

And in Boulder, Colorado, an Egyptian national terrorist launched a brutal assault using Molotov cocktails and a flamethrower on a group of Jewish people who were peacefully assembled to support the Israeli hostages. The attack injured an 88-year-old Holocaust survivor, plus 11 other individuals.

The question is no longer whether antisemitism exists. The question is: Why is America tolerating it?

On today's episode of Some Future Day, I sit down with Robert Spencer, scholar, historian, and author of the new book “Antisemitism: History and Myth.” Together we trace the ancient roots of Jew hatred, explore how Islamic extremism and Western academia are feeding the flames, and confront the role social media and influencers are playing in amplifying the world's oldest hatred.

This conversation is raw, necessary, and deeply unsettling. But it's one we can't avoid. If we stay silent now, the future of Jews in America could mirror the darkest chapters of our past.

Putin, Ukraine, and The Diplomacy of War | Ambassador Georgette Mosbacher & Marc Beckman Jun 03, 2025

Show notes

Today we expose the brutal truth about Vladimir Putin, Russia, and Ukraine. My guest is Ambassador Georgette Mosbacher, former US ambassador to Poland and one of the few people alive who has seen how deep Russia's propaganda war really goes.

She reveals how Putin didn't just invade Ukraine with soldiers, he invaded with disinformation, AI and psychological warfare, and we let him. We talk about American weakness, European cowardice, and why the Biden administration gave Ukraine just enough to survive, but never enough to win.

Ambassador Mosbacher doesn't hold back. She says if she had been negotiating with Putin, she would've bombed Moscow, and then called to say, “Don't take it personally, Vladimir!”

She says America has been asleep while our enemies build influence campaigns, turn social media into weapons, and use artificial intelligence to destabilize democracies. We dig into the lies, the missed opportunities, and the question no one in power can answer: What does winning even look like?

This episode is not comfortable, it's not polite, and it is urgent. Ambassador Mosbacher, you're a good friend. I appreciate you coming on Some Future Day. Thank you so much for joining me on this incredible episode.

N.W.A.’s Legacy: Compton to AI | DJ Yella & Lil Eazy-E with Marc Beckman May 27, 2025

Show notes

This week on Some Future Day, I had the honor of sitting down with two absolute legends: Lil Eazy-E, the son of iconic Eazy-E, and the one and only DJ Yella of N.W.A. We talked about the origins of hip hop: the real, raw, revolutionary movement that changed American culture and the world. How N.W.A. became a voice for the streets when no one else would listen. How music at one point carried the soul of the people and how much of that soul has gone missing.

Today, Yella told me flat out, music's gotten fake. Artificial. AI is writing lyrics, mixing beats, and erasing the human experience. But Lil Eazy-E had a different take. What if he could use AI to bring back his father's voice? Not to fake the legacy, but to honor it.

We explored that thin line between innovation and exploitation and asked, can AI ever replace authenticity or is something irreplaceable lost when machines take the mic? We didn't stop there. We talked about politics, race, legacy, and the need for respect between generations. We talked about the launch of their new Hip Hop Hot Sauce, international tours, and what it means to be from Compton and to make it out.

This episode isn't just about music. It's about the future of culture, technology, storytelling, and soul. Eazy, Yella, thank you for joining me on this amazing hip hop episode of Some Future Day.
