2020 marks a new era.
Today we celebrate a legend-in the making. Explore some of Du Breesh’s greatest hits. And hear a sneak peek of unreleased tracks.
Born January 14th, 2000, Elijah Massiah professionally known as Eli Du Breesh-the Brooklyn native, is cut from a different cloth. From the young age of 12, he was influenced by Chicago’s own, G Herbo with his flow, style & storytelling. The early stages of his rap career started with the Brooklyn persona of drill music, paving the way for many famous Brooklyn names today such as Pop Smoke. Starting to write raps on loose leafs and doing freestyles, his early SoundCloud hits helped Du Breesh pave the way for his future melodies to come. With hits like Flexin, Curve Me & recent AXL BEATS hit- Pack Em Freestyle-theres no telling what Du Breesh can do. Versatile in so many ways, he is one of the best-young and upcoming Brooklyn rappers of his time, hands down ! In late 2018, he teamed up with artist/producer/engineer- Big Spliffted which would later change the tone of Brooklyn rap. With both melodic voices collaborating together, the two helped releasing Du Breesh’s first mixtape Breesh Way - EP, which featured hit songs like Bora Bora, 24 Hours & Trying. Setting the tone for him, he’s been on a roll ever since. The Crown Heights rapper brings back the “Brooklyn Feel” in many of his songs and theres plenty more to come. The infamous line “I Gotta Gift” featured in Pack Em Freestyle speaks for itself. Because indeed he does.
