Being an entrepreneur is not all rainbows and butterflies. It takes serious grit and hustle. From an Easy-Bake Oven to operating 3 kiosk locations across North Carolina, this week’s Work in Progress guest was able to scale her passion for baking into a long-term business. At the age of 18, Alexandria Marrow ventured off to create her own business called Sweets by Alexandria. Alexandria was a manager, head baker, social media manager, and salesperson all before attending college. With the help of her family, Alexandria ran the business for 3 years prior to converting Sweets by Alexandria into a subscription model.
