    Women’s Bible Study

    Lisa Laizure teaches a Women’s Bible Study in Phoenix Arizona. Her greatest desire is to have women connect the dots between their everyday life and their faith in Jesus. She believes strongly in the sovereignty of God and in the Bible as our final authority. Her passion is getting fellow Christians to understand the importance of reading and studying God’s Word on a daily basis. She and her husband Rob have written nine books including “Remind Me” and “Discouraged”.

    Why is it that so many people who claim to be Christians act no different than non-Christians? Why are our churches so divided?     Sometimes, we have this view of Jesus that He was meek, mild, and always cheerful and happy. But that isn’t the biblical picture of Jesus. There were times when Jesus was angry. Righteously angry. Today, we see this as He takes a whip and clears out the Temple because the Religious Leaders had become about greed and not God. Then, we will discuss how that plays out regarding our modern-day Christian churches today.
