Kerry Hasenbalg met Jesus at a young age through her mother’s faith. However, the transfer of that faith did not become her own until she studied abroad in Russia. It was in Russia that a deep passion for Jesus and His word was sparked. Kerry spent the next years deepening her knowledge of the Lord and drawing close to Him. It was after this time that God began to open exciting and unprecedented doors of opportunity to her. Those observing her life, as well as her husband, Scott, encouraged her to write a book highlighting some of her many adventures and deep spiritual truths she has learned along the path. It’s crazy how doing something good can turn so bad. Hannah chose to love Jesus from her youth. She married a precious Christian man from church and together they set about becoming a family together. Everything seemed almost storybook until they set about adopting a troubled little boy. Margaret Laird’s life was extraordinary in so many ways. She was born in 1897 in Denver, Colorado. She grew up in a large family, went to college and became a dental radiologist. Though a church goer all her life, it was in college that Margaret first heard the Gospel and received Jesus as her Lord. Put off at first by the idea of leaving America as a missionary, she was nevertheless compelled to yield her whole life to whatever plans God had for her. Yielding to God became the slogan of her life. She went to the Central Republic of Africa in 1924 and spent the next forty years ministering, loving, and sharing the Gospel with the Banda people.
