In this episode of Midweek Motivation, Jeff Hopgood launches a new series centered around three simple but powerful words:

    Live. Love. Laugh.

This episode is a reminder to stop merely managing life and start experiencing it with more presence, connection, joy, and intention.

Today’s episode is called “Live. Love. Laugh.”

This is the beginning of a brand-new Midweek Motivation series focused on learning how to become better without forgetting how to enjoy being alive.

Sometimes life becomes so full of responsibilities that we stop living and start functioning.

    We work.

    We pay bills.

    We take care of people.

    We meet deadlines.

    We handle problems.

And somewhere along the way, we forget to enjoy the life we are building.

This episode is about coming back to three things:

LIVE — Be present. Make memories. Stop saving your life for later.

LOVE — Tell people they matter. Protect your heart without closing it.

LAUGH — Make room for joy, rest, fun, and moments that make life feel lighter.

You do not have to wait for everything to be perfect before you enjoy your life.

You can have responsibilities and still make memories.

You can carry challenges and still laugh.

You can experience difficult seasons and still love deeply.

Live like today matters. Love like people matter. Laugh like joy still belongs to you.

    Change Talk Oct 19, 2026
    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

In this episode of The Who Am I? Podcast, Jeff Hopgood explores how the words we use about ourselves shape confidence, identity, behavior, and personal growth.

This episode challenges listeners to stop speaking permanent defeat over temporary problems and begin using language that leaves room for healing, growth, and becoming.

Today’s episode is called “Change Talk: Change the Way You Speak About Yourself.”

Sometimes the most damaging words we hear are the ones we keep repeating to ourselves.

    “I’m not good enough.”

    “I always fail.”

    “I can’t do this.”

    “I’ll never change.”

“This is just who I am.”

But there is a difference between acknowledging a struggle and turning that struggle into your identity.

In this episode, we talk about self-talk, confidence, identity, mindset, personal responsibility, emotional healing, and how changing your language can change the way you see yourself.

    You will learn why:

    • “I failed” is different from “I am a failure.”
    • “I’m learning” creates more possibility than “I can’t.”
    • Self-accountability does not require self-hatred.
    • Your past does not get permanent control over your future language.
    • Change talk must eventually be supported by change behavior.

This episode is your reminder that you can be honest with yourself without being cruel to yourself.

Speak to yourself like your future is listening.

In this episode of Midweek Motivation, Jeff Hopgood challenges you to stop waiting for your circumstances to magically change and start taking intentional action toward the life you want.

This episode focuses on ownership, discipline, personal transformation, faith in action, and making different choices to create different results.

Today’s episode is called “No Time to Keep Waiting for Your Life to Change.”

Sometimes we keep saying we want something different while continuing to make the same decisions that created what we already have.

    We wait for Monday.

    We wait for January.

    We wait for motivation.

We wait until we have more money.

We wait until we feel confident.

We wait for somebody else to change.

    But eventually, change requires participation.

In this motivational reset, we talk about personal responsibility, habits, discipline, intentional action, and learning how to stop handing tomorrow the responsibility for what you can begin today.

You do not have to change your whole life overnight.

You just need to change something.

    One habit.
    One decision.
    One boundary.
    One conversation.
    One response.
    One next step.

Because different results require different choices.

Stop waiting for your life to change. Start participating in the change.

    There's a War Going On Oct 13, 2026
    Show notes

There’s a war going on, and it’s not happening on a battlefield, it’s happening behind someone’s smile. We’re talking about the invisible battles so many people carry in silence: emotional exhaustion, burnout, grief, anxiety, pressure to perform, and the quiet fear that telling the truth will make us look weak.
We unpack why “I’m good” can be code for “I don’t know where to begin,” and how performing strength can become its own kind of exhaustion. If you’re the dependable one, the encourager, the person everyone calls in a crisis, you’ll recognize the trap: you can be so capable that people forget you’re also vulnerable. We explore what real resilience looks like when you stop treating rest like a reward and start treating it like maintenance, and why boundaries and support are not selfish, they’re healthy.
You’ll also hear the story of Michelle, who sits in her car before walking into her house because it’s the only place nobody asks her for anything. One honest text changes everything, not because her problems disappear, but because she finally stops surviving alone. We share three truths to carry into your week and a “battlefield check” with questions you can answer today: what you’re fighting, what it’s costing you, and one realistic step toward peace. We close with an affirmation to help you refocus on who you are beyond the struggle.
If you know what it’s like to look fine while you’re running on empty, press play, then share this with someone you care about. Subscribe, leave a review, and tell us: what’s one honest step you’re willing to take this week toward support and peace?

Stop Bleeding on People Who Didn’t Cut You Oct 07, 2026
    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

Today’s episode is called “No Time to Keep Bleeding on People Who Didn’t Cut You.”

Sometimes the person in front of you is paying for something somebody behind you did.

Old betrayal can create new suspicion.
Old abandonment can create new fear.
Old disappointment can make you expect the worst from people who have not done anything wrong.

Midi-week motivational reset focuses on healing, emotional responsibility, self-awareness, relationships, trust, and learning how to stop carrying unresolved pain into new connections.

    Your pain is valid.

But the people who did not hurt you should not have to keep proving that they are different from the people who did.

    Healing is not forgetting.

Healing is learning how to recognize your triggers, communicate honestly, take responsibility for your reactions, and give the present a chance to be different from the past.

You can be wise without being suspicious of everyone.

You can have boundaries without becoming emotionally unavailable.

You can heal without losing what the pain taught you.

From Awareness To Honor In Breast Cancer Month Oct 05, 2026
    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is about more than wearing pink. It is about honoring the fighters, celebrating the survivors, supporting the caregivers, and remembering the lives of those we lost.
In this powerful episode of The Who Am I? Podcast, Jethro Hopgood shares a deeply personal message inspired by the breast cancer survivors in his own family, including his wife and sister. He reflects on the strength it takes to fight breast cancer, the emotional impact that can remain long after treatment ends, and why surviving cancer does not always mean the journey is completely over.
For many survivors, the scars, sleepless nights, fear of recurrence, medical appointments, and memories of what could have happened can remain long after the words “cancer-free” are spoken.
This episode also speaks directly to those currently undergoing treatment, the families standing beside them, caregivers carrying their own silent burden, and those grieving someone they lost to breast cancer.
Through an emotional story of hope, encouragement, reflection, and motivation, this episode challenges us to stop treating October as simply another month of awareness.
Let’s make it a month of honor.
    We honor:
    🎀 Those currently fighting
    🎀 Breast cancer survivors
    🎀 Caregivers and families
🎀 Those navigating life after cancer
🎀 Those whose loved ones are no longer here
🎀 Doctors, nurses, researchers, and advocates
If you or someone you love has been affected by breast cancer, this episode is for you.
    You are seen.
    You are honored.
    Your story matters.
Share this episode with someone who needs encouragement today.

No Time to Keep Breaking Promises to Yourself: Rebuild Self-Trust Sep 30, 2026
    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

Today’s episode is called “No Time to Keep Breaking Promises to Yourself.”

Every time you tell yourself you are going to start, change, show up, or follow through — and then do not — something happens.

You lose a little trust in yourself.

This 10-minute motivational reset is about rebuilding that trust.

In this episode, we talk about self-discipline, consistency, personal integrity, and why keeping your word to yourself matters just as much as keeping your word to others.

You do not need a giant transformation overnight.

You need one promise you can keep.

    One workout.

    One page.

    One boundary.

    One saved dollar.

    One kept commitment.

Because every time your actions match your words, you make a deposit into self-trust.

    Your word to yourself matters.

Stop Cutting Everybody Off Sep 28, 2026
    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

Everybody doesn’t need to be cut off.

In today’s episode of The Who Am I? Podcast, Jeff Hopgood challenges one of the most common messages in modern self-help culture: “Protect your peace and cut them off.”

But what if the relationship isn’t toxic—just uncomfortable?

What if the problem doesn’t require a goodbye, but an honest conversation, a healthy boundary, forgiveness, accountability, or better communication?

In this episode, we talk about the difference between protecting your peace and avoiding conflict, why every disagreement isn’t toxic, how pride can destroy relationships, and why cutting people off shouldn’t always be your first response.

You’ll also be challenged to examine your own patterns and ask difficult questions:

Are you setting healthy boundaries—or building walls?

Are you protecting yourself from harm—or protecting yourself from accountability?

Have you communicated what hurt you before deciding the relationship is over?

Sometimes walking away is necessary. But sometimes healing begins with three simple words:

    Can we talk?

If you’re navigating broken relationships, friendship conflict, family tension, boundaries, forgiveness, emotional healing, or personal growth, this episode is for you.

No Time To Let Fear Drive Sep 23, 2026
    Show notes

    Send us Fan Mail

Fear can be present without being in control.

In this episode of Midweek Motivation, Jeff Hopgood challenges you to recognize where fear may be making decisions about your future and reminds you that courage does not mean being fearless—it means moving forward even while fear is present.

Today’s episode is “No Time to Let Fear Drive.”

Fear has a way of sounding reasonable.

    Wait until you’re ready.
    Wait until you know more.
    Wait until you cannot fail.
    Wait until everyone agrees.

But sometimes what we call caution is actually fear keeping us parked.

This mid-week motivational reset focuses on courage, fear management, and faith in action. You will be challenged to identify what fear has been controlling, name what you are actually afraid of, and take one intentional step forward.

Courage does not mean fear disappears.

Courage means fear can speak without being obeyed.

Faith does not require you to see the entire road. Sometimes faith simply gives you enough courage to take the next step.

    So ask yourself:

What would I do next if fear was no longer allowed to make the decision?

    Fear can ride with you.

    But fear cannot drive.

    Pause. Reflect. Reset.
