The Governor's Seat w/ Stacey Abrams Oct 20, 2022

Show notes

Our guest today, Stacey Abrams, is running for Governor of Georgia, and stands to make history as the first black female Governor in our country's history. That is a big deal, and I can't lie - I WANT TO SEE HER WIN!
This episode is a peak behind the curtain of who Stacey is, what she wants for us as a community, and why the office of the Governor is so critically important. It's also just really good to see her in a safe space for her and all of us.
TIP if you don't want to hear my personal intro (you know you wanna hear it tho) then skip to minute mark 13:20 and hear what Leader Abrams has to say.

A Space For Black Women and Only For Black Women w/Akilah and Tyi From Monuments To Me Podcast Sep 30, 2022

Show notes

We LOVE Black Women and intentionally celebrate the platforms designed specifically for black women, which is why we shared space with the dope hosts of The REVOLT original Podcast Monuments To Me. Tyi and Akilah hold needed conversations that are curated with black women in mind, and they make it look so damn easy. This episode is hilarious and informative as hell, and you should absolutely run to check out the podcast Monuments To Me on REVOLT. We discuss everything from why this space is important to our dreams for black women and our thoughts on how down for the cause you can be if you are married to a person from another race.... and Tyi shuts us all down about listening to R Kelly...Trust us...just don't do it.
