tFoH (Prol-Ch1): Gareth "Zaddy" Bryne Feb 03, 2021

Show notes

In this week's episode, Ali and Gus dive headfirst into The Fires of Heaven to find that Ali's joking prediction about the first line was absolutely correct; a curvaceous character with questionable morals is introduced; Danelle continues to drive Ali up the wall; Morgase isn't acting like herself; and Siuan, Bryne, Logain and Leane form a fleet in Ali's mind.
(Please note: in suggesting that Graendal might have a "Scarlett Johansson"-like physical appearance, we are not suggesting that Scarlett Johansson could be considered "plump" by any reasonable means, rather that, in modern popular media's warped portrayal of body images, any woman with a silhouette is lumped into the same category of "not skinny", which is of course ridiculous.)

Ranking The Forsaken Jan 24, 2021

Show notes

As voted on by our Patrons, we are thrilled to present to you Ali's current ranking of the Forsaken! Today, we'll go through each of the Forsaken and judge them based on four pieces of criteria:

How have their actions furthered the cause of the Shadow thus far?
What potential do they (or their actions) have of causing further harm?
How cool is the name they picked for themself?
What would they order to drink at a bar?

From these rigorous and scholarly and not at all silly questions, we come up with what is no doubt the definitive ranking of the Forsaken, which will definitely not change AT ALL as Ali learns more about them.
Content Warning: there is some conversation about the Forsaken's tendency towards sexual assault and rape in this episode.
