[60] God’s Omnipresence to Bless or Punish Aug 16, 2018
    Show notes

God is a spirit and is present everywhere in the totality of his being. We often have to describe God’s incommunicable attributes negatively because he is unique in his essence. God is present everywhere, but not always to bless. He is present in hell to pour out his wrath on unrepentant sinners. Everyone knows that God exists, but most people suppress that truth. There is no autonomy, we are either obedient to God, or we are obedient to Satan. http://www.whatdoesthewordsay.org/podcast/60-gods-omnipres…o-bless-or-judge/

    [59] God’s Eternity and Omnipresence Aug 09, 2018
    Show notes

God’s experience of time is qualitatively different than ours. He knows the future perfectly as well as all possible events. God is present everywhere in his totality, which is called his omnipresence. http://www.whatdoesthewordsay.org/uncategorized/59-gods-eternity-and-omnipresence/ ‎

    [58] God’s Immutability and His Eternity Aug 02, 2018
    Show notes

There is only one way of salvation and it is the same now as it has always been; we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. God does not change. His standard is perfection and his law shows us that we can’t meet that standard, so we should cry out “What must I do to be saved?” The law also restrains evil and shows God’s children how to live lives that please him. God’s eternity is related to his immutability and tells us that God does not experience time as a succession of moments like we do. http://www.whatdoesthewordsay.org/podcast/58-gods-immutabi…and-his-eternity/ ‎

    [57] God is Unchangeable Jul 26, 2018
    Show notes

When we say that God is unchangeable, or immutable, we do not mean that he doesn’t change his behavior toward people in response to their actions. Process theology is unbiblical because it is founded on indefensible and unbiblical assumptions. The Old Testament is still relevant to believers today. The God of the Old Testament and the God of the New Testament are the same. http://www.whatdoesthewordsay.org/uncategorized/57-god-is-unchangeable/

[56] There is only One God and He is Unchangeable Jul 19, 2018
    Show notes

There is only one God who exists eternally in three persons. This God is unchangeable, which is called his immutability. God’s immutability is a result of his perfection. http://www.whatdoesthewordsay.org/uncategorized/56-there-is-only…-is-unchangeable/ ‎

[55] The Holy Spirit is God Jul 12, 2018
    Show notes

The New Testament teaches that lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God. It also teaches that the Holy Spirit is omnipresent, omniscient, eternal and involved in creation, which are all activities of God alone. The Holy Spirit is primarily responsible for the application of redemption to God’s people. Therefore, the Holy Spirit is God. http://www.whatdoesthewordsay.org/podcast/55-the-holy-spirit-is-god/

[54] Jesus Christ is God Jul 05, 2018
    Show notes

Jesus Christ claimed that seeing or believing in him was seeing or believing in God the Father. He also assumed the prerogative of speaking for God directly and of forgiving sins, which only God can do. He is described as eternal, omnipresent and immutable, which are attributes that are only true of God. He also claimed to have the power to raise himself from the dead. Jesus Christ is God! http://www.whatdoesthewordsay.org/uncategorized/54-jesus-christ-is-god/

[53] The Deity of Jesus Christ Jun 28, 2018
    Show notes

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus Christ is fully God. When Christ became incarnate he laid aside some of the privileges, or status, he had as God, but he did not cease to be God. http://www.whatdoesthewordsay.org/uncategorized/53-the-deity-of-jesus-christ/

[52] The Trinity and the Deity of Jesus Christ Jun 21, 2018
    Show notes

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, not a force or power. The clear teaching of the New Testament is that Jesus Christ is God. http://www.whatdoesthewordsay.org/uncategorized/52-the-trinity-a…-of-jesus-christ/

[51] The God of the Bible is Triune Jun 14, 2018
    Show notes

The triune nature of God is a clear teaching of the Bible. It is implicit in the Old Testament and explicit in the New. Jesus Christ himself clearly claimed to be God and the people understood him; they tried to stone him for blasphemy. http://www.whatdoesthewordsay.org/uncategorized/51-the-god-of-the-bible-is-triune/
