Terrifying & True | The Murder of Martha Moxley: Mischief Night and the Skakel Case Oct 16, 2023
    Show notes

Martha Moxley was fifteen when she was killed with a golf club in Greenwich, Connecticut, on Mischief Night 1975. Pieces of a broken club led investigators toward the neighboring Skakel household, but the case would take decades to reach a courtroom. Terrifying & True follows the evidence, disputed accounts, and Michael Skakel’s murder conviction, which was later vacated; prosecutors dropped the charge in 2020. He maintains his innocence. The story examines wealth, a stalled investigation, and a family’s pursuit of answers. What happened after Martha left her friends that October night?
    We're telling that story tonight.

Unknown Broadcast pairs two old-time radio mysteries about the danger of looking closer, from an ominous garden to a chamber of horrors after closing time.
