Flat Earthers Part 2: Interview with Mark Sargent Aug 18, 2020

There’s a growing community of people who believe the earth is a flat disc surrounded by a giant ice wall guarded by NASA, encased inside a dome with a rotating sun and moon, and controlled by a mysterious higher power. Mark Sargent, known as "King of the Flat Earthers" from the Netflix documentary Behind the Curve stops by to state his five main points on why he believes the earth is flat (his reasons contain misinformation that we fact checked), what can be done to get him to believe the earth is a sphere, what this so-called "dome" is made of, and if he is being anti-science in a time where humanity needs to be very reliant on science. He also talks about the possibility of everyone living in a simulation, and explains what he thinks the meaning of life is.

Louise Huebner: Official Witch of Los Angeles Aug 11, 2020

Radium Girls Aug 04, 2020

In the late 1900s, teenage girls and young women were hired at the United States Radium Company to paint watch dials with glowing paint. Unbeknownst to them, this paint was actually made with a highly dangerous radioactive substance that would cause harrowing pain, cancer, and death. The victims fought a difficult uphill battle for justice because the company tried to cover up their deaths by claiming they died from Syphilis, not radiation poisoning.

ALSO: Ali got an infrared blanket and wonders if it’s dangerous. Melissa used to swim in water next to a nuclear power plant because it was warm.
