Get to Know Hannah Sunderani, the plant-based blogger behind Two Spoons.
Hannah was born and raised in Canada, but has recently moved to France with her husband. Her plant-based journey began in her early 20s during a time of suffering. Following the loss of her boyfriend and first love to cancer, she was completely heartbroken. This stressful time of life took a toll and led to stomach pains and digestion issues. Eventually, she was diagnosed with IBS and after a year of meds and struggle, she finally turned to food for medicine. It took some time to figure out exactly how to tweak her diet for healing however, this season of life taught her how to cook healthy and wholesome meals that ultimately healed her body. After watching herself thrive on plants to such an incredible extent, she’s forever sold on this lifestyle and inspired to help others on similar journeys.
In this interview, Hannah tells us about life in France including the culture shock of an international move not to mention living plant-based in a land of the best roast chicken, delicious cured meats and incredible cheeses. On the upside, she’s been inspired by the quality and care that’s placed on food and farming in France.
Hannah’s hope is to inspire you to try her plant-based recipes, to experience how delicious this lifestyle can be, and to feel happy about what you put in your body. Whether you’re entirely plant-based or not, you definitely need to check out twospoons.ca and try a few recipes. Some of our favorites include her curry cauliflower crust pizza, watermelon poke bowl, and mini raspberry vegan cheesecakes (to die for). Hannah has such a warm and charming personality. Furthermore, she inspires us to make the world a little healthier, greener and more humane. Listen in, we know you’ll love hearing her story.
