#94 - Simon Rogers Interrogation (2025) Sep 30, 2025

Show notes

For this month's interrogation, we have the pleasure of sitting down with Simon Rogers. Identified in almost every Fall-related press article as the "classically trained" musician, we get some fun insights from his role as both a musician and a producer in the band. He was also kind enough to provide us with some photos and other Fall items from his archive, which we will be sharing over the next few weeks. Enjoy! [Intro: Phone message left by MES delivering instructions for the production of Pumpkin Head Xscapes to Simon Rogers]

We've got the blindness... the lads are heading into this album without listening to it ever before. Should be a fun way to head out of 1990's, and for that case, the 1900's. Let's get into SIDE A of The Fall's 20th album, The Marshall Suite (1999).

[PATREON PREVIEW:] Who wants to get weird with us? Let's dive into MES's first solo outing. A collage of sound and words that is essential for only true Fall-heads ("Don't call us Fall-heads!").
