Vic Fangio and Buddy Ryan are very similar Dec 03, 2024

Show notes

I hope you have your dancing shoes on because all Barchard can think about is the Eagles playing the Lions in the NFCCG!! We're dancing, singing, and praising Vic Fangio and Saquon Barkley because figuring out why this Eagles team is so special shouldn't be that complicated.

Saquon Barkley changed everything for the Eagles Nov 26, 2024

Show notes

Saquon Barkley has done something that very few running backs are able to do. He makes everyone around him better. John Barchard is finally back with thoughts on Saquon and goes into why we have missed on what Nick Sirianni does best which isn't X's and O's obviously. He's just willing to play the dummy.

Would You Trade Jordan Davis at The Deadline? | Discord Bird Bucket #2 Oct 25, 2024

Show notes

Is there another lazy Sunday victory coming up once again at 1p vs the Bengals? Do you think the Eagles would let go of Jordan Davis if it meant they could get a premier pass rusher in a trade? Is there a tempo offense that can exist with lots of play action passes and a fullback on the field for 10 straight plays?

John Barchard and Stan from the Discord answers all of these and get into plenty more as we prepare for what is more than likely a very weird game in Cincinnati.

This Team is Full of Sh*t | Eagles vs Browns Postgame Oct 15, 2024

Show notes

Wins aren't always wins, and there was no better example of that than the Browns game on Sunday. Lane Johnson called this offense "constipated" and that makes a lot of sense to me now. Nick Sirianni needs to take a shit, and he can't figure out how to do it.

John let's out his frustration about what he thinks this season is all about, who is going to leave at the end of the year? Nick or Jalen? Do you really believe that Jalen Hurts is a failure at this point in his career?

Why Did BGN Radio Fall Apart? | Discord Bird Bucket #1 Oct 09, 2024

Show notes

BGN Radio was without a doubt created the Eagles podcasting environment that we hear and see today. But back in 2013, it was a much different time with lots of corporate greed, drama, and unfair pay. Michael Clay joins us from the Discord as he and John go back and forth to tell the real story of the rise and fall of BGN Radio.

Nick Sirianni is a Lame Duck Sep 19, 2024

Show notes

I didn't want to come on with a negative slant this week, and I think I still found some optimism for the defensive rookies, but there is no way Nick Sirianni is coming to back to this team next year. The press conference from Nick on Wednesday was astoundingly alarming to me. He described why he kicked a FG instead of going for it on 4th down vs the Falcons with his "own chart" of analytics and it told me everything I needed to know.

Nick lost his balls cause he's scared to lose his job.

Fangio is here to stay... Not sure if Bryce Huff is though Sep 12, 2024

Show notes

Vic Fangio is going to leave Philadelphia a legend, and there is still a ways to go personnel wise to make that happen with the front 7. John breaks down why this is going to be a special unit as long as Howie keeps letting Vic pick the groceries, since Roseman doesn't seem to be that great at finding what he needs. But Roseman certainly found what he needs in the secondary and they are the true stars of this defense at the moment. The Falcons are going to get killed and if Kirk Cousin's his hurt as Chase Daniel suggested this week, he might not make it though this game.

Give Saquon the Ball ... for now Sep 10, 2024

Show notes

EAGLES ARE 1-0 and I am little disappointed in you. You were about to bail on Jalen Hurts this year until you started watching the 1p games on Sunday, weren't you? I KNEW IT! Jalen played terrible and it should have cost them the game. I promise you it's okay to say that out loud! In this episode I get into why I am so confident in Jalen moving forward and why I believe this needs to Barkley's team for the next 5 weeks.
