Cut it Out Nick Sep 16, 2025

Show notes

Since Nick Sirianni became the head coach we have ALWAYS critiqued his passing offense in some way shape or form. So I am pretty content to wait for answers from this offense as it recovers from a short offseason and I am so happy the Eagles are 2-0. But my biggest critique from the win in Kansas City and from Dallas keep showing up. The Eagles have zero pass attempts in the 10-19 yard range after 2 weeks, and that can no longer continue if Jalen Hurts truly wants to be a top 5 QB.

Sorry I couldn't get this out faster! (Recorded Monday morning)

WELCOME TANK BIGSBY TO THE PARTY! Some quick thoughts on his overall all role, a little deeper dive in to what I think Za'Darius Smith's usage might look like, and I am doubling down on seeing Cooper DeJean at CB2 as early as this week vs KC.

I think Jalen Carter is gonna get suspended, I am warming up to the idea of Cooper DeJean at CB2, and I am JACKED about what I saw from Jalen Hurts in Week 1 vs Dallas.

The Eagles Roster Doesn't Make Sense to Me Aug 21, 2025

Show notes

The Eagles have so many WRs, a backup QB that won't play a 2nd preseason game, and no one that can really play CB2. Don't you think Howie is trying to get a deal done with Tanner right now? I do. That's my biggest takeaway as Eagles training camp comes to an end.

What the John Metchie Trade Could Mean for the Eagles Aug 18, 2025

Show notes

I don't think John Metchie being here automatically means there is a corresponding move, but I would be lying to you if I didn't at least think about what that would look like without Dotson here. PLUS, Drew Mukuba gives me new life and a lot less worry about CB2 heading into the season.

We dive into what this means for the CB2 battle, why Cooper DeJean is absolutely not just a slot corner, and how the Eagles are already setting up life after Reed Blankenship. Plus, crack a beer, tailgate season is here.
