508 – “Coda” Dec 02, 2014

Show notes

We have arrived at yet another The Walking Dead mid-season finale, which crashed into the front steps of the church along with Abraham and company. All of our groups have come back together to bravely face another half season, with one notable exception. What is the final verdict on season 5A? How did Carol make her miraculous recovery? What will Tyrese and Daryl do now that their plan to spare bloodshed has ultimately robbed them of one of their own? How much further can Rick drift from his farmer days and remain a hero? When will Tyrese swallow a bag of cement and get hard? And where do we go from here? All this and more is pondered, along with a generous helping of feedback and a stout spoiler section. Please enjoy!

506 – “Consumed” – Instant Take Nov 17, 2014

Show notes

This episode really showed me something, some heart, some history, some really disturbing use of camping gear. I loved it almost start to finish, while Jim’s praise was more reserved. Will he see the light by the time of our full cast? Stay tuned for Tuesday!

505 – “Self Help” Nov 11, 2014

Show notes

This podcast for The Walking Dead episode 505, “Self Help”, has a lot going for it. Abraham flashbacks, cool zombie deaths, some post apocalyptic sex, and lots of people making fun of Eugene. But, as The Walking Dead is wont to do, there are also problems. The flashbacks raise as many questions as they answer, Tara is back to being annoying, Maggie and Glenn are pale shadows of their former selves, and Eugene is an idiot a-hole of colossal proportions. When will The Walking Dead right this flipped over, burning bus and get back on the road? Tune in next week and find out!
