We are at the final episode of Dawn - and as the Clans finally leave the mountains, not all of them make it out. The Clans have gotten so used to saying goodbye - it almost seems unreal to finally say hello - to their new home.

As the four Clans convalesce amongst the Tribe of Rushing Water, Leafpaw hears from Starclan. It isn’t helpful in the slightest - but what did we expect really. Even far from their once home, the Clans are able to celebrate one of their most time honored traditions...with a twist.

We don’t discuss this too much in this episode, but this resource was mentioned this episode. In the future, we may discuss depictions of Indigenous culture and how this is handled in the Warrior series. We are both white and aim to discuss this with respect to all Indigenous people. We highly suggest reading this post (spoilers for up to series 4).
Our traveling Clans are struggling through the mountains, but thankfully some old friends find us! And even the most obstinate Clan cat cannot refuse this help. They can’t, they are literally starving. Free of the danger of Sharptooth, the Tribe of Rushing Water is doing well - but wherever the 4 Clans go, trouble is sure to follow.

Tangletongue fights her love for Crowpaw - and Emberheart quantifies it. We all need to be much more careful around these rocks - our hearts cannot take it. We replay a familiar scene with a large bird and a small kit - but this time we have experience on our sides.

We begin our exodus in earnest as the four Clans learn what traveling together will entail. A lot of clashing egos - that is what it entails. Still some cats manage to work together - they are going to have to - as the first cat is lost on the journey, but not the last.

Another cat joins StarClan before the other 4 Clans can even begin their journey. Tangletongue is unaffected. Mainly because another cat died and they didn’t tell us where to go. Another cat delays their journey by being the drama queen we love. We finally get going and it goes as poorly as expected.

Firestar and Leafpaw discuss their tooootally platonic lost friends as the Clans prepare to leave the only home they've ever known. However, you cannot get all four Clans together without some drama and we got heaps of it. Join us as Brenna cries (twice), Maureen laughs (evil), and we both share a mental breakdown.
