    Show notes

The whole group is back with the news. Jaku is excited for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, and is still obsessed with Final Fantasy XI. Will his life be consumed by it? The new Wholesome Direct: Indie Game Showcase came out. It has a ton of cute and wholesome indie games coming out in the near future. We're excited for the idea of more adorable games like this. Animal Crossing has blown up with mini games recently. Survivor, Deal or No Deal, Ninja Warrior, and so much more. They have been awesome to watch, and more will keep coming. Xwater has a Hot Take on Facebook's Buy and Sell feature. It used to be a lot easier to barter with people online. Now everyone assumes their junk is valuable, and low-balls everything else. People need to learn to trade better. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Check it out at https://www.patreon.com/WarpWorld Check out https://coins.warp.world for a salty treat! Will more games be supported for as long as this one was? The Insignia Project is working on bringing the original Xbox Live back to the original Xbox. Can they bring back the glory days of online gaming? Halflife 2 Episode 4 had footage leak. If there was footage for Episode 4, how much work was done on Episode 3? Will we ever get a new Halflife game? We have a Hot Take about Jaku this week. He's playing FFXI again, and he's played nearly nonstop. How addicted will Jaku get to it? We'll have to find out next week. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Check it out at https://www.patreon.com/WarpWorld Check out https://coins.warp.world for a salty treat! Episode 147: A NEW Paper Mario Has Appeared! May 18, 2020
    Show notes

Jaku, Xwater, and Poo are here with the news of the week. Because of the amazing Patrons, we were supposed to have a irl stream party to celebrate. With everything happening, that's not really possible. So, for now, we're doing a Mario Party Party on May 22. Check it out! Tony Hawk Pro Skater is getting a new game? No. It's actually significantly better. THPS 1 and 2 are getting remade, with most of the original music. It looks amazing, and we're all excited for it. Unreal Engine 5 has been shown off, and WOW! It looks amazing. There will be a lot of really amazing looking games coming soon with that. We have a Hot Take concerning another new announcement. Paper Mario: The Origami King was announced. It looks really good, and we can't wait to play it. But, can it please the fans of Paper Mario? After Sticker Star and Color Splash, will anything make the hard core Paper Mario fans happy? Ghost of Tsushima is coming in July. It looks pretty cool, but one of the things Jaku noticed was the UI. It takes up very little of the screen. On top of that, quests that send you somewhere don't have markers to follow. The wind in the game blows towards your objective instead. This is a really interesting decision that lets you feel more immersed in the game, and we hope more games do things like this. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Episode 146: Nintendo Shuts Down Another Fan-made Mario Game May 11, 2020
    Show notes

Jaku and Xwater have returned with the hottest news around. Jaku has been BUSY! Turnip.exchange has had over 4 million unique users. There's been so much happening, and we want to thank every patron for helping support us. A ton of Nintendo source code as leaked. We don't know the extent of all of it yet, but there's a ton of information that Nintendo didn't want to see out there. Mario 64 has an awesome PC port with widescreen and 4k resolution. But, it wasn't made by Nintendo, and it's been taken down. We get it, but still, it was awesome. Sony said they found the Last of Us 2 leaker. It could be a fake to deter others from doing something similar, but we hope it's real because the leaks only hurt one of the best games in years. Cyberpunk 2077 has a new feature that everyone will want to see to believe. You will be able to to customize your genitals. This is a necessary step to making video games better. Right? The first line of Xbox Series X games have been revealed. We talk a bit about each one, but the most important thing is Smart Delivery. If you buy a game with Smart Delivery, you get all versions, and the best versions even if it's updated later. Microsoft has been very pro consumer lately. Speaking of, this week's Hot Take is about the new Series X. With Smart Delivery, is there a reason to buy the Series X and not just play the games on the Xbox One or on PC? We'll have to see how sales are when the Series X comes out. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Check it out at https://www.patreon.com/WarpWorld Check out https://coins.warp.world for a salty treat! Episode 145: Leaks and Peeks May 04, 2020
    Show notes

Jaku and GrandPooBear are here to bring you the news. There's a new streaming platform in town. PlexStorm is an adult gaming streaming site, with NSFW content. Is this the Mixer? Today's Hot Topic: Alinity was banned again for nudity on stream. She's been in this position before. Does it really matter? Assassins Creed Valhalla dropped us a trailer. It looks cool, but is it just another Assassins Creed game? Are they all pretty much the same? The Last of Us 2 had a big leak. The story was released into the wild. For a game like this, it's the thing that matters most. Steer clear of it if you care. The Japan Retro Game Association gave away 100 SNES and games to kids in Japan. But, they didn't get any CRTs. Will this hurt the love of the games with the input lag? WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Check it out at https://www.patreon.com/WarpWorld Check out https://coins.warp.world for a salty treat! Episode 144: Updates Everywhere! Apr 27, 2020
    Show notes

This week Jaku, Xwater, and Grandpoobear are here to update you on the news. The biggest news is Super Mario Maker 2 had a huge update within 24 hours of announcing it. It added Koopa Kids, Mario 2 (costume), and at least 1 powerup per theme. It's huge and we love it. We have a Hot Take on Maker 2's updates. Should they do huge updates all at once, or spread them out like a small drip. Both would be better with just a little bit of communication. Animal Crossing got a Nature Day update. It's pretty big, and it seems like they have at least a years worth of content, if not more. Keep these coming Big N! Xwater is now a pirate with an eye patch. Don't worry, he's actually ok, he just looks cooler for a few more weeks. Crowd Control took over the charity fundraising for St Jude Children's Hospital this week. They raised over $50,000 for charity this weekend. Congratulations! WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Check it out at https://www.patreon.com/WarpWorld Check out https://coins.warp.world for a salty treat! Episode 143: Animal Crossing Survivor Drama! Apr 20, 2020
    Show notes

Everyone is back at Fruit Ranch, including a surprise special guest @Taterholic. Poo's birthday just happened. They talk about how crazy they made a lockdown party. Taterholic is here to give us the lowdown on how Poo betrayed her in Animal Crossing Survivor. Resident Evil 4 is getting a remake since RE2 and RE3 did so well. Should they remake all of them? Can they make this as good of a game as the other two were? The Nintendo Switch had an update that didn't seem like a big deal. That was until they noticed you could change all keybinds on your controller in the os. That's amazing for a lot of games. Cooking Mama: Cookstar came out, then disappeared. What happened? Is it going to be the rarest released Switch game? We have a really Hot Take here today. An article came out about Warp World's turnip.exchange. They didn't contact any of Warp World, and made it out to be a terrible system. Jaku gives us the 411 on how wrong they were. If you want to write an article about a Warp World product, just email jaku@warp.world he'll answer promptly. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! It's interesting, and neat, but how much will it cost? Our Hot Take is about the Resident Evil 3 remake. It's 6 hours long, and still costs $60. IS it a rip off? Is it worth it? What's the deal? Animal Crossing has a lot going on. But, the crew has been participating in a streamer survivor game show. Come listen to the sordid details. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Episode 141: turnip.exchange Apr 06, 2020
    Show notes

We're back in Animal Crossing again. Jaku has created turnip.exchange for your Animal Crossing needs. Check it out! A lot of people are using Zoom to teleconference lately. Be careful if you do because there are some known vulnerabilities in the program. There's a rumor that most of the 3d Mario games will be getting remade/remastered for the switch. We're hoping it's true because we want to play them all. Twitch has finally listened to Jaku and included 2 Factor emotes. If you don't already have 2 Factor on your Twitch account, go get it now for these sick emotes. We present today's Hot Take. The Last of Us 2 is delayed indefinably. Is this the right thing to do? Is it good, is it bad? Does it hit too close to home right now, or do we need the distraction? WE NOW HAVE A PATREON!
