Encore: The Challenges of LEGAL Marijuana Jul 29, 2016
    Show notes

Co-hosts Stephen Wagner and Mitchel Winick take on the controversial topic of legal marijuana. Program guest Chris Halsor has been on the front lines of Colorado’s trailblazing foray into legal marijuana and has developed an expertise in the complicated facets of legal marijuana. Legal marijuana is more than the prospect of large tax revenues and the ability to buy an ounce of pot. Marijuana advocates have created very effective campaigns that are changing public attitudes. Halsor believes that legalization of both medical & recreational marijuana is on the verge of a tipping point and will likely spread world-wide within the next 10-15 years. Instituting and implementing legalization for a drug that has been unlawful for decades - and remains so at the federal level - is more complicated than the headlines would have you believe.
