Hollywood doesn’t make shows FOR veterans because they don’t think the veteran audience is big enough to be profitable. Instead, they make shows for civilians ABOUT veterans.
However, Hollywood doesn’t always portray us as we really are. They portray us the way that civilians want to think that we are.
This disconnect is the reason that there has never been a show made specifically for the post 9/11 veteran community.
