This week, we are diving DEEP into the wackiest, wildest, COOLEST trip I've ever been a part of: the Disney Believe reveal!
We spent a few days aboard the Disney Wish uncovering clues about Disney Cruise Line's newest ship (launching 2027) and even though you've likely seen my posts and the reveal itself, there is SO much you do not know about what happened on board!!
(And...I may or may not have some unheard details about the spaces on board DCL's new ship! justice for the Frozen restaurant!!)
I still can't believe this whirlwind of a trip even happened, and I am so excited to TAKE Y'ALL ALONG WITH ME!!!

WARNING: week’s episode will make you laugh out loud at work!!!
My colleagues Julie Tremaine and Carly Caramanna came by Very Amusing to discuss their new Unofficial Disney Parks Retro Cookbook and how they created the perfect vintage recipes and stories for any nostalgia-obsessed Disney fan!
We’re getting into ALL of it, including:
The scientific swing Disney took to make their BBQ sauce!
A late-night deep-dive vintage relic that inspired the whole book!
The Disney food trend that drives us all up a wall!
…and how Julie’s baking may have gotten Bob Gurr to write an intro for the book!
Press play, check out the book, and brace yourself to yearn for the ABC Soap Opera Bistro as much as we now do!!!

Come join me on a wildly deeply reported tour of the most confounding museum on planet earth. And yet — for all its quirks, pitfalls, Star Wars props and shocking reveals, I walked away beyond excited to go back to the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. Why? Well, because there's never been a museum to spark this much conversation — which, in a way, is the ultimate narrative art, ain't it?
(Just press play i am trying so hard to avoid spoiling any of this SPECTACULAR episode for you!!!)

Very Amusing is your go-to theme park and travel podcast for having fun on vacation, whether it's with theme parks, Disney World, Disneyland, Universal, Shrek, roller coasters, amusement parks, rides, attractions or other shenanigans!
In today's fully reported episode, we are diving deep into Universal's new behemoth of a ride— my official review, my advice for when you visit, and what makes this coaster special — while also expanding upon the debate you may have seen online of nearby homeowners' extensive noise complaints.
Because...on Tuesday, I had so much fun riding Universal Studios Hollywood's new Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift coaster that I just kept going on, likely giving myself a mild concussion.
On Wednesday, I drove to a stranger's house to interview a half-dozen nearby residents about how the coaster — namely its passengers' screams — has significantly impacted their lives.
Consider this a 360 degree view (like the rotating vehicles!) of Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift and how one coaster can be so game-changing for this park, so mind-blowing for guests...and so infuriating for locals.
Who's right? Who's wrong? And who is this coaster for? All of that…will be answered in this week's episode of Very Amusing.

Chef, Author, Writer, TikTokker and all-around human delight Shay Spence is here this week to discuss, well, EVERYTHING!
His new book, Meals You Can't Mess Up, is such a genius concept that i WILL be cooking from it when it drops September 22 (buy it now!!), but even more thrilling is that we got to chat about his career, his Disney World faves and make him super uncomfortable as I yell at him to his face about how talented he is ◡̈
(Who else is a professional chef, magazine food editor, social media king, recipe whiz and theme park expert?! NOBODY BUT SHAY!!)
From the inside scoop on his Dollywood-inspired cinnamon bread recipe to the Disney World restaurant we BOTH dread dining at (you'll never guess which), this one is an absolute joy that i cannot wait to share with you all!

This week, we welcome my dear friend and colleague Zach Laks on the show to school us about EUROPA PARK! Did you know that random German theme park with the fake Spaceship Earth has a PHANTOM OF THE OPERA COASTER INSIDE!? Or that they have even more country pavilions than Epcot?!
This one is a theme park doozy and I can't wait to share it all with you!

Is it some Reputation: Taylor's Version clownery for theme park news? Or just one journalist's very grounded predictions that have actually business and financial reasoning for coming true? ONLY TIME WILL TELL!
Tune in for my very fair, balanced, accurate and truly kind of revolutionary D23 predictions. Nothing crazy kooky here, truly — just a couple dozen things I GENUINELY believe will be announced on stage at D23's Horizons: A Carousel of Progress Experiences Panel Presentation this Saturday, August 15!
