College Football Playoff talk without talking about it & the issue with 10-year coaching contracts Oct 20, 2022
    Show notes

Andy, Ari and Scott Dochterman celebrate getting past the halfway point of the season without really thinking much about the College Football Playoff because the season has been so darn interesting. Perhaps things narrow a bit after games like Syracuse-Clemson and UCLA-Oregon this weekend, but it feels like we have a few more weeks of just enjoying a lot of teams still being in the hunt for conference titles at this point. Later, we make Scott talk about Iowa's offense even though he really doesn't want to. Why? Because we may never see anything quite like this again. Plus, Ari weaves an elite segue into why programs shouldn't sign coaches to 10-year deals.

With Mohamed Ibrahim's status for Saturday up in the air, is the spread for Minnesota and Tanner Morgan too much vs. Illinois? Will history repeat itself in Auburn-Ole Miss, a matchup that's seen the Tigers win 8 of the last 9? Or is this it for Bryan Harsin? Jason Bean gets his shot to lead Kansas with Jalon Daniels injured. Are 9 points way too much for Brent Venables and OU? Can Hendon Hooker and co. upset Alabama? How about if Bryce Young plays? Plus, Will Rogers vs. Will Levis; Brian Kelly heads to Florida, are we riding with USC or Utah, and more!
