These are the chapters where Harry has a meeting with Odin to talk about how he can narrow down when and where the attack on the island is going to happen. Also, I would very much like a steak sandwich. Please and thank you.

I went looking for a Dresden Files-specific illustration of the Red Cap but came up short, so here's the creepy illustration of him as illustrated by Alan Lee in Faeries. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faeries_(book)
These chapters are the ones in which Harry finds out exactly what the hell Demonreach is, gets attacked on his way back to shore, and tosses the Red Cap off a jetski.
Thanks so much for listening, and we will see you next week with a new episode!

Huge props to u/halifax456 for this amazing 3D rendering of the fallen tower and cabin on Demonreach! If you want to see it in more detail, head here! If you check out their username, there's also a version with Shagnasty and the runes lit up green! https://www.reddit.com/r/dresdenfiles/comments/lwzhgc/demonreach_towercottage_3drender_cc_welcome/
These are the chapters in which Molly comes to Harry's rescue, and takes him to her sweet new digs without actually explaining to him how she landed such an awesome crib with top-notch magical security and all the amenities one could wish for.
Then, Harry heads on over to Demonreach, and is surprised to find his brother Thomas waiting for him. Oh, and Thomas is PISSED.
See you next week!

Huge props to u/nicadom for this illustration of Toot-Toot. He manages to look silly AND scary, which I imagine is similar to the effect he would have in battle as well. See the illustration in more detail here! https://www.reddit.com/r/dresdenfiles/comments/dx96az/im_just_about_to_reread_the_series_so_far_and/
These chapters are the ones in which Harry finds out exactly what Bob knows that makes him such a threat to Mab, and discovers that he's got a VERY short time-frame to work within. Then, and army of fairies show up.
Thanks for listening, and thanks to Brendan Hone for his tireless work!

Thank you to KnightOfWater for this illustration of Harry dancing with Mab, which I find funny because he looks so unsure of himself. Not exactly true to the scene, but amusing nevertheless. https://www.deviantart.com/knightofwater/art/Cold-Days-485234678
These chapters are the ones in which Harry lays down the law amongst the sidhe, leaving no doubt as to who the fuck is in charge here. It's actually great to see him get to use as much force as he wants because he's not dealing with mortals and therefore is let off the leash a little bit. Very enjoyable.
Then, Mab gives him an order with major implications.
Thanks so much to you all for listening, and we will see you soon with a new episode!

Cold Days- Chapters 4, 5, & 6 Mar 17, 2021

Thank you to Conor Burke for this badass speedpaint of Barbarian Santa, which while not officially Dresden Files related, suited too perfectly not to use. https://conorburke.artstation.com/projects/Pr4G1
These chapters are a lot of table setting in order to get Harry familiar with other members of the Winter Court, and RoShawn was actually pretty into it. We meet badass Santa, and once again encounter the Erlking and Eldest Gruff. Also, Harry meets....THE Redcap.
Thanks so much to you all for listening, and thanks to Brendan Hone for the info! We will see you next week!

Cold Days- Chapters 1, 2, & 3 Mar 10, 2021

This beautiful illustration of Mab and Harry by David Vargo can be seen on Jim Butcher's website, here! https://www.jim-butcher.com/search/back+up/page/16
I'm so excited to be getting into this book, y'all. I'm really interested in seeing what RoShawn thinks of the Winter Court and Harry's role in it, and I'm wondering what she's going to think of some of the twists and turns that will be coming down the line.
However, I will admit to being a trifle impatient with Butcher's depiction of Sarissa, and RoShawn is with me on that point. Will "man explains things to clueless woman" ever NOT be the default introduction technique of male writers? Blerg.
Anyway, thank you so much for listening, and I will see you all next week with a new episode!
