“Jeannette, if you can hear us, know that we’re looking for you”

June 8th 2003, in the city of San Jose, a ‘Little Caesars’ staff member receives a pizza order from a young girl, unaware that the caller is actually 9 year old Jeannette Tamayo, who has been missing for 3 days. Held captive in a small room in his house, her kidnapper brings back the food with a nasty smile: she knows that this could be her last dinner before he “gets rid of her tonight.” The memory of watching CSI with her brother flashes back to her mind — she is determined to fight until the last moment, so she grabs the pizza box, and becomes her own detective.

“It was like a vacation for her”

On September 6, 2006, 14 year old Elizabeth Shoaf was kidnapped by a man who claimed to be a police officer. Handcuffed, and “arrested”, she is taken deep into the woods where she discovers a secret underground bunker. For ten days, investigators look everywhere for the missing teen, without any clues, until Elizabeth is able to outsmart her captor, and her mom receives a shocking text message from Elizabeth herself.

On the New Year’s Eve of 1989, 11 year old Collier Landry wakes up to a loud thud coming from his parents' bedroom, and it becomes the night his mother Noreen disappears forever. All of his family seem to have no doubts that she ran away after a fight with her husband, but only Collier knows that his mom would never leave him behind. As Dr John Boyle refuses to discuss his wife’s disappearance, detective David Messmore builds a secret bond with the child who insists his mom was murdered. Together, they discover Dr. Boyle’s hidden girlfriend and an astonishing secret buried under the doctor’s new mansion’s floor.

It’s after 10 pm, outside a Cracker Barrel, when 14 year old Abigail Kopf & her friends are getting ready to head home, until an unknown man approaches them with a gun. Earlier in the day, 911 received a call about someone driving a silver Uber, who had attacked 25-year-old mother Tiana Carruthers as she shielded a group of neighbourhood children — now, he's chosen Abbie as his next target. The only hope for justice for the citizens of Kalamazoo, rests on the shoulders of whoever can survive him – and take him down before he hurts anyone else.

In the early hours of April 8th, 2006, Pastor Matt Baker makes a frantic 911 call to Waco police—he's just found his wife, Kari, unresponsive in their bed. As police race to the scene, they also call in Linda Dulin, Kari's mother, to take care of the couple's two young daughters. Though the cops don't see anything suspicious, Linda slowly realizes that Kari's husband, Pastor Matt, in spite of his Baptist faith and proclaimed innocence, hides many sins, including a damning search history, secret phone calls, and a past as a predator. Without Linda, the truth might’ve stayed buried - but the Texas mother is determined to uncover what really happened to her daughter, and get justice for her & her granddaughters.
